Bruno Ameneiro of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo, won in the optimal class in the seventeenth edition of the Iberian Granite Trophy, which has organized the Club Marítimo de Canido, silver was for the Paula da Rocha of the Club Marítimo de Canido and the bronze for Nuno Meijide of the Real Club Nautico de Vigo.

In Laser Standard, the Danish Patrick Dopping, who sailed under the grympola of the Vela Club of Viana do Castelo, who won all the sleeves, took the Iberian Championship, the Portuguese Miguel Rouxinol, also from Viana, and second in this general with 8 points. Third was also the lush Serafim Gonçalves, of the Povoense, with 15 points.

In Laser Radial the Iberian Champion is the Coruñés Roberto Bermudez de Castro, of the Real Club Nautico, with 7 points, the same as his teammate, also the Herculino Jorge Juan Tábara, favoring the average for its best partials to the first. Third is Gonzalo Martínez, from the Canido Maritime Club, with 12 points.

Finally, in the form of the most youthful Laser, the 4.7, the Iberian Championship remains in Canido, thanks to the triumph of Pedro Fernández, with 9 points. Like the Radial, Fernández takes the trophy due to his best individual results regarding the second one, which has been Mario Cabanas, of the Real Club Marítimo de Santander. The third square also goes to the Cantabrian capital, with the bronze position obtained by Iñigo Prego, with 13 points.

Bruno Ameneiro of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo in the optimal class, the Danish Patroick Dopping in standard laser, Jorge Juan Tábara of the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña in radial laser and the pontevedresa Claudia Sobral in Sanxenxo in laser 4.7, are the provisional leaders of the Iberian Granite Trophy, which began in the Ria of Vigo with the organization of the Maritime Club of Canido, which is supported by Sailway.

200 ships will be on the starting line this Saturday to take part in the XI Iberian Light Sailing Trophy that summons the optimal and laser fleets in a catalogued meeting of the Iberian Championship and organized by the Canido Maritime Club with the collaboration of the Sailway nautical services company.

The fleet of the most new is composed of 135 units arrived from all corners of the Galician community, Asturias, Cantabria and Portugal. In the Laser, 14 correspond to the Standard; 19 are recorded in Radial; and 31 in 4.7.

The light-sailing Iberian Granite Trophy reaches its eleventh edition... the first great nautical quote of the light-sailing in the Ria de Vigo was presented on the terrace of the Canido Maritime Club, which was told by the president of the Maritime, Mauro Olmedo; the president of Iberian Granites, Vicente Carnero; the Commodore, Ramón Ojea; and the technical director of the race, Emilio Méndez.

The best regatists of the Optimist and Laser classes will meet in Canido on 21 and 22 April, in a new meeting in which it will again be the Iberian Championship of both modes, thanks to the official concession of the Spanish and Portuguese Royal Federations of Vela, contemplating the Laser its three different specialities: standard, radial and 4.7, the latter for the younger of the sport of the candle, which have already, for the most part, made the transit through the optimist.
