98% of the exhibitors of the Palma International Boat Show, to which about 35,000 visitors have access, want to participate in the next edition of the nautical competition, as can be seen from the surveys of the companies present at this edition of the fair. This data shows the business satisfaction and commercial success of the Palma International Boat Show, which today closes the doors at the Moll Vell de Palma.

One aspect to be noted is the opinion of the public, who have pointed out with 9.3 the quality of the products exposed, a figure that shows that both exhibitors and organization work to have an increasingly sectoral and specialized offer in nautical.

The Palma International Boat Show is organized by the IDI (Institute of Business Innovation) with the collaboration of Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA), responsible for Palma Superyacht Show. This 35 edition has been characterized mainly by the increase in the area which has increased the number of vessels at sea to 300 by 48%. In addition, 260 companies have participated in the nautical competition that took place from 27 April to 1 May at the Moll Vell in Palma.

The investment need for the projects presented this morning at the II Boat Show Investment Forum is EUR 3 million. All the businesses present are in progress and require this economic injection in order to grow the company.

In total, the Forum has had the participation of seven projects related to the nautical sector: two online boat rental platforms, a digitization project, one that links the agrifood sector applied to the nautical and three industrial companies with a strong R & D & I base. In addition, about 90 private investors have attended the forum to learn about the projects.

The Boat Show Investment Forum, organized by the IDI and Keiretsu Forum, has been attended by the Director General of Industrial Policy, Manel Porras; the Managing Director of the IDI, Nuria Hinojosa and the Director of Keiretsu Forum Spain, Miquel Costa.

At the end of the event, the investors present have chosen the company that best presented the project. The winner has been Utek, specialized in the development of unmanned vessels. The Director-General of Industrial Policy has given the award to the award and has highlighted the importance of initiatives such as the Boat Show Investment Forum as "it is a great tool to boost new projects and to grow a sector as strategic in the Balearic Islands as is the nautical."

This year, as a novelty, a round table on "Key techniques for investment in startups" has been organized to further complete the offer of the Boat Show Investment Forum.

This is the second year the IDI has organized this initiative together with Keiretsu Forum, the world's largest network of private investors in the framework of the Palma International Boat Show. The aim is to give visibility to business projects while at the same time boosting investments in the field of water.
