Barcelona World Race translated the Catalan statement to the Tabarnés

Yesterday the mandamas of the nautical city of Condal, issued a communiqué signed by the Catalan Federation, the Royal Nautical Club, the Reial Club Martitime of Barcelona and the Nautical Cluster... represented respectively by Xavier Torres, Félix Escalas, Antonio Masriera and my friend Toni Tió... have here normal and of educated people as are all mentioned.

The problem comes with reading... and what is already almost supernatural, is being able to interpret or translate what they have meant... because one thing is clear... very clear: What they have said is one thing, and what they really do. DIRING is a completely different one, perhaps it is written in a closed Catalan so we do not understand it... so we have contacted an expert in "Tabarnese" who is part of the team of its president in exile Albert Boadella and who resides on the tarraconian coast, in Sitges:

From the Federació Catalana de Vela, the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, the Real Club Marítimo de Barcelona and the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, we deeply regret the decision to suspend the 2019 edition of the Barcelona World Race, a few months before its departure.

(translation into Tabarnese) From the Catalan Federation of Vela, the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, the Real Club Marítimo de Barcelona and the Clúster Náutico de Barcelona... these days we have remembered the dear and respectable mothers of one of our municipal politicians, who have had the eggs to carry the Barcelona World Race just a few months from its beginning...

This event, the result of the dynamism and creativity that characterizes Catalan sport, has contributed to the promotion of high competition sailing and has placed our ocean sailors and the nautical industry at the forefront of the international landscape. In this competition, the city of Barcelona has also had a new focus of dissemination and projection linked to sailing and nautical activity.

(translation into tabernese) The BWR has been born thanks to the real sailing fans in Barcelona and other places in half of Europe, as well as to the entrepreneurs who have trusted us, and many of you with supine ignorance have dedicated yourself to tacharos of elitists and capitalists... Despite your zancadillas we have achieved several brilliant editions, which have been used to improve the image of the City itself, with undisputed success... with a media presence of many hundreds of thousands of euros of value, with a beautiful sport, attractive to the environment, sustainable, of enormous quality and that has brought our business fabric benefits to bear in mind.

This decision undoubtedly compromises years of effort and investment to make Barcelona what it is now, a city open to the sea, where much remains to be done and, unfortunately, this is a very hard blow.

(translation into Tabarnese) You are so unpresentable, that you have loaded our work and given it to another Spanish city... and in fact there are bids for who puts the money to organize, what you have destroyed by your supina stupidity... Ineptos, you've thrown away years and years of work, and we're not gonna get it back in a long time, unfortunately.

We want this suspension to be reversed in the near future and thus to maintain Barcelona as the historic venue of major international sports events.

(translation into tabernese) I hope in the next elections the citizens will put Mrs Colau in a corner in the opposition, and stop hurting this great city, which is called Barcelona... is the only solution in sight... because with your management the damage is terrible and eye that we can stay outside the international circuits of the nautical, with the Nautical Hall of Barcelona, including...
