Gran Canaria hosts the 17 Symposium on Sports Ports in early June
Directed by the professional reference of this type of events, the Asturian Victor Montero General Director of ASMAR, the seventeenth edition of the "Symposium on Sports Ports" is held in the Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort of Gran Canaria, next June, on 1 and 2.
According to its organizers, Gran Canaria has been chosen for its varied and economic air communications, as well as its great hotel offer, being a great opportunity to combine work and rest.
The Sysposium has the collaboration of the Councillor of Public Works and Transport of the Government of the Canary Islands, Ente Público de Ports del Estado, Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Ports Canarios, Autoridad Portuaria de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Cámara de Comercio, Industria, Servicios y Navación de Gran Canaria, Grupo Lopesan, Federación Española de Asociaciones de Ports Deportivos y Turísticos, Asociacion Canaria de Portos Deportivos, Asociación Española de Industrias Naútica, Confederación Española de Clubs Náuticos, Dravosa, Ronautica Marinas, Varean, Marean.
This event can be considered a very unique case in the analysis and treatment, both theoretical and practical, of a specific matter; here the sports ports, both dependent on the Autonomous Communities and the Náutico-sports dársenas located in the ports of general interest of the State, and in general of the entire economic sector of the sports nautical in Spain, and of all the issues that have been affecting them over time.
The explanation of that statement is simple. The Symposium was born in 1989, on a biennial basis, and with the aim of establishing a meeting forum that would allow dealers, professionals, service providers, companies and other stakeholders to exchange and update knowledge about this sector, which is constantly developing due to social, economic and legal changes. The course of time makes it possible to state that this idea of origin has achieved a success that was not easy to predict at birth, but that it is the result of a consolidated development over these almost thirty years. The PDF with the planning of the Symposium, as well as the contact for inscriptions, are as follows:
