The International Federation of Piragüism (ICF), by its English name, has today agreed to choose Lanzarote as the headquarters of the Surfski Ocean Racing World Championship of 2021, the world of sea kayak speciality.

The decision was taken by the highest international organization of pyragüism at a meeting in Tokyo, at which the Spanish candidacy was endorsed. The World Cup of Sea Kayak 2021 Lanzarote "Volcanoes Island," will be held in the week from 18 to 24 October of that year.

In the last edition of the surfski mode, a specialty that is recording a significant increase in the number of registered, it was attended by 500 palists. The forecast for 2021 is close to the thousand, representing forty nationalities.

Organizing the Surfki World Cup in Spain is a success that has been possible thanks to the efforts made in recent months by the members of the Los Marlines Club of Lanzarote... all the sights were set in Tokyo, where the members of the International Canoe Federation had to meet...
