The test is organized by the sailing school of the Nautical Club of St. Petersburg along with the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia, and is supported by the honorary consul of the Russian Federation in the Valencia Community and the AMICS association

The first edition of the new international race OptiOrange, which brought together 62 Optimist class regatists from Spain and Russia, was held in Valencian waters. This first edition of OptiOrange had as winners Maxim Shapeshnikov and Alisa Kodaneva in the male and female categories, respectively; with the Valencian Carlos Espí third of the male general and sub13 champion, and the dianense Carlota Gómez Torres as female winner sub 13.

In the same category, the Valencian Martina Mantovani was made with the second position, with Elena Colón del RCN Denia, third. In the male sub 13 category, the second position after Carlos Espí was for Russian Kirill Shunenkov, with Eduardo Reyes, of the RCN Denia in third place.

The male absolute podium was composed of Maksim Shaposhnikov and Arkadii Karmanov, both of St. John's. Petersburg Sailing Academy and the Valencian Carlos Espí in third place. Finally, after Alisa Kodaneva, the absolute female category had Victoria Espí of the RCN Valencia in second position and Julia Martínez of the RCN Denia in third place. Results:
