The Council of Ministers approves of the medium degree of recruitment

Today, in the Council of Ministers, the degree of vocational training of Recreation Maintenance Technician and Recreation Maintenance Technician have been approved in the Council of Ministers.
The first Council of Ministers in March approved the two Royal Decrees which establish and regulate the content of the new vocational training titles of the medium degree for the repair and maintenance of recreational boats, as well as for the maintenance of wood structures and furniture of recreational boats.
In relation to the first, the Title of the Medium Degree of Vocational Training of Recreation Maintenance Technician, ANEN has actively participated, intervening in the working groups that were formed to define their content and characteristics.
This title will allow vocational training students to acquire a specialization in materials such as mechanics, naval carpentry, maintenance and treatment of surface and composite materials, maintenance of electronic equipment, navigation and entertainment on board and maintenance of gear, candles and textile elements, among other contents.
Students may, after exceeding the different modules which will last 2,000 hours (2 years), achieve this official qualification. The title includes a training module in work centres in enterprises in the sector, with a duration of 400 hours. The title is also capable of being developed in a dual manner, i.e. one year in the training centre and one year in a company. The implementation of this qualification will make it possible to improve the qualifications of workers and therefore to move towards the professionalization of the sector.
