According to ANEN the registration of sports boats grow in January more than 14 points

These are the data collected in the "January 2018," published by ANEN on the basis of the data provided by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy (Image of the Sada River in La Coruña).
The market for recreational craft in Spain starts the exercise with an increase of 14.46% in enrolment, a good data for a month out of season in which the consumption of nautical is traditionally the lowest of the year.
In total, 198 recreational boats have been registered in Spain in January 2018, compared with 173 in the same month of 2017. Of these, 32 are for vessels intended exclusively for commercial use for rent (nautical charter).
The segment up to 8 meters, which represents 89% of the national nautical market, is registered 176 vessels compared to 145 vessels registered in January 2017 (+ 21.4%). The rest of the length falls, the ships between 8 and 12 meters (-8.3%); between 12 and 16 meters (-9%) and also the enrollments of larger ships, from 16 meters, that record only one unit compared to 5 last year.
By type of boat, all markets are growing except motor boats (-9.2%). The water bikes register + 44.5% in relation to the month of January 2017; the folding tyres yield the best result (+ 163.5%); the semi-rigid ones grow by + 7.7% and the candle by + 22.2%.
The rental market increases its enrolment by 3.2%, significantly slowing its growth this month. The segment that best behaves this month in the rental market is that of the ships between 8 and 12 meters that grows by 66.7%. By type of boat, the semi-rigid tyres that register 11 units compared to 1 last year in January are highlighted.
Andalusia, with 18.20% of the market, has a 16% increase in its enrolment in January of this year. Catalonia, the second Autonomous Community by market share with 16.67%, increases its enrolment by 14% in the month under review. Third by market share, the Balearic Islands, with 15.15% and a 25% increase in their enrolment. In the charter market, the Balares Islands is at the top of the market with 25% share, followed by the Valencia Community and the Canary Islands with the same market share (22%) in both Communities.
