The Board of Directors of the federal entity has also presented the proposal for the provisional budget for 2018, which amounts to four million euros... the content of the expenditure put forward notes the commitment to parity by the Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo, which has mixed figures between the number of men and women attending the planned concentrations in different training centres.

Pontevedra (Verdudo) and Asturias (Trasona) will host the Spanish Championships of sprint 2018 in the senior categories and promises, respectively, while Lleida (La Seu) and León (Sabero) will do so in the slalom mode. The announcement of these headquarters as well as the dates for the celebration of the different competitions has today been transferred to the general assembly of the Spanish Federation of Piragüismo, held at the headquarters of the Spanish Olympic Committee in Madrid, with the presence of 77 Assemblists.

During the assembly, the president of the International Federation of Piragüismo, ICF, spoke for his initials in English, the Spanish José Perurena, who has made known to the present the new Olympic program as well as the technical structure of the highest international organization in this sport.

The national calendar highlights the return to Alcudia, in Palma de Mallorca, of the competition with the celebration of the Spanish championship Young Promises about 5,000 and 3,000 meters in cadet and children, to celebrate on April 28. By autonomous communities in senior and promising, the main tests, headquarters and dates provided for in the State calendar are as follows:

- ANDALUCIA (Sprint) Spain of Winter in Seville, 17- 18 March
- GALICE (Sprint) Spain senior in Verducido (Pontevedra), 13, 14 and 15 July
- (Sprint) Spain of Young Promises in Trasona (Asturias), 27.28 and 29 July
- LLEIDA (Slalom) Spain senior in La Seu d'Urgell (Lleida), 4 and 5 August
- LEON (Slalom) Spain Young Promises in Sabero (León), 25 and 26 August
