Belcher-Ryan from Australia wins the Sofia Iberostar in Palma de Mallorca
The 49th Princess Sofia Iberostar Trophy medals have not been disappointed and have maintained the thrill of the Majorcan race until the last stern of each of the ten Olympic classes that have been quoted throughout the week in the Bay of Palma. Especially exciting was the bronze dispute in the Nacra 17 class between the two Spanish teams, and they have finally hung Fernando Echávarri and Tara Pacheco. The Australian duo of 470 male formed by Mathew Belcher and Will Ryan has been raised with the title of absolute winners of the race, on a total record fleet of 870 ships and 1,215 regatists from 62 countries.
The victory in Nacra 17, already confirmed yesterday afternoon, has been for the Italian Ruggero Tita and Caterina Banti, who today have added their worst result all week, an eighth place. The silver goes to England by the hand of Ben Saxton and Nicola Boniface's team.
In RS: Female X, Marina Paliau has used the race medal to climb up to the fifth position of the general. Meanwhile, Blanca Manchón has been ninth in the final test and is down to eighth place in the final classification of the women's boards. The gold has been for the Dutch Lilian De Geus, with the Chinese Pei Na Chen in second position and the Italian Flavia Tartaglini in the third podium drawer.
Bàrbara Cornudella and Sara López say goodbye to the Sofia Iberostar with the joy of winning the medal race of the 470 female and going up to the seventh position of the general. Along with them, the team of Silvia Mas and Patricia Cantero, today fourth, have also competed in the last test of this class, which closes the competition in the fifth final position.
In 49er male the Argentine brothers Yago and Klaus Lange have raided the lead in the medal race. Crossing the arrival in third position has given them a three-point advantage over the British Dylan Fletcher-Scott and Stuart Bithell, who have been relegated to second position. For their part, the French Mathieu Frei and Noah Delpech have been made with bronze.
In 470 male Australians Mathew Belcher and William Ryan have proclaimed themselves absolute winners of the 49 Iberostar Princess Sofia Trophy by winning in the 470 male class with five wins, including the medal race, in ten trials. It is worth recalling that Belcher was gold in London 2012 along with Malcolm Page and silver in Rio 2016 with Ryan. In addition, the English duo has already raised his class champion at the 2013 Sofia Trophy. They are accompanied on the podium of the class by the Turkish Deniz and Ates Ciar, second, and the Japanese Tetsuya Isozaki and Akira Takayanagi, third parties tied to points with the Germans Simon Diesch and Philipp Autenrieth, fourth.
The podium of the 470 female has been one of the tightest in the Sofia Iberostar, with victory for the Japanese Yoshiida and Yoshioka, with 56 points for 58 of the second classified, the British Hana Mills and Elidih Mcyntire, who have achieved a only one point advantage over the Swiss Fahrni and Siegentahler, third.
The Dutch Annemiek Bekkkering and Annete Duetz today have again imposed on the fleet of 49er FX to reconfirm their first position, which they already certified virtually yesterday afternoon, and they say goodbye to the Sofia Iberostar with nine wins in 16 sleeves. New Zealand Alexandra Maloney and Molly Meech are second and Dutch Odlie Van Aanholt and Marieke Jongens are third.
In Laser Radial the victory was for the Danish Anne- Marie Rindom and the second place was awarded by the British Alison Young. In the third position is the Hungarian Maria Erdi, with an advantage of only one point over the Dutch Marit Bouwmeester, fourth.
The last class to finish was the Laser Standard. The fall of the wind at noon and the constant roles have caused the medal race not to end until 1650 hours. The final podium of the class is made up of the Australian Matthew Wearn, first; the New Zealand Sam Meech, second and the Croatian Tucci Stipanovci, third.

06 / 04 / 2018: Chavarri-Pacheco is guaranteed bronze in the Princess Sofia of Palma

The bronze of the class Nacra 17 has, provisionally, Spanish name. Fernando Echávarri and Tara Pacheco, after a round day with results of 3 + 1 + 2, occupy the third position of the podium of their class with 86 net points, and an advantage of 21 points on the fifth classified. The only crew that could take the bronze from the Galician and the Canary Islands is the Spanish team of Iker Martínez and Olga Maslivets, which has 98 net points. On the front, the Italians Ruggero Tita and Caterina Banti are already virtual winners of the Iberostar Sofia while the second position, with the silver almost secured, is for the British Ben Saxton and Nicola Boniface, with 69 points (Photo Tomás Moya)
The 49 edition of the Princess Sofia Iberostar Trophy is on the way to the final day with six confirmed Oros: the Australians Mathew Belcher and William Ryan (470) and Matthew Wearn (Laser Std), the Dutch Annemiek Bekkking and Annete Duetz (49er FX), the British Giles Scott (Finn), the Danish Anne-Marie Rindom (Laser Radial) and the Italian team of Rugero Tita and Caterina Banti (Nacra 17). For their part, the Spanish Fernando Echávarri and Tara Pacheco arrive at the medal race in bronze position, with their fellow Iker Martínez and Olga Maslivets as the only contenders with options to take their third place. In addition to these two crews, six more Spanish teams will compete in tomorrow's medals.
In 49er, the Federico and Arturo Alonso brothers have taken advantage of the last three sleeves to get the pass to the medal race and do so with options to assault the podium in the last race. The Asturians end the day in sixth position, with a partial of 7 + 5 + 1 and are only nine points from the bronze. It should be recalled that the final race tomorrow is double and non-disposable, so all options are open. The provisional podium is led by the British Dylan Fletcher-Scott and Stuart Bithell. The Argentines Yago and Klaus Lange are second and the French Mathieu Frei and Noah Delpech, third. The Asturian pattern has been optimistic for the end of tomorrow. "Our idea is to go out as well as we have done every day and finish first; what happens from behind is not up to us," said Federico Alonso.
Two national crews will compete tomorrow, Saturday, April 7, in the female class 470 race medal: the Catalan team of Silvia Mas and Patricia Cantero, sextas in the provisional general, and the Catalan Bàrbara Cornudella and Sara López, octavas. Of these two crews, Mas / Cantero could make the jump to the podium as they are seven points from the third position, which occupies the French team of Camile Lecointre and Aloise Retordaz. The first square is held by Japanese Ai Kondo and Miho Yoshika, while the second position is for British Hanna Mills and Eilidh Mcintyre. For their part, Sofia Toro and Ángel Pumariega say goodbye to the Sofia Iberostar from the twenty-third position.
The penultimate day of the Majorcan regatta has complicated the medal options of the Andalusian windsurfers Blanca Manchón and Marina Paliau, which occupy the sixth and seventh positions, respectively. Manchón began the day by winning the first manga and was on the podium momentarily but on the second test a 28 has placed him at 17 points of bronze. For its part, Paliau has not competed in today's first race by breaking a saber less than two minutes from the start, and the DNS is discarded, while in the second sleeve he has added an 11 to his locker.
The coach of the Spanish team of women's boards, Santi Lopez- Vazquez, has ensured that he is happy with the performance of Manchón and Páliau. "White has sailed very well, even by dragging a DNC from the first day he has fought through the medals to the last sleeve. And Marina has been to a very high level, even knowing that the season has just started and having had several material problems during the last two days," explained Ópez- Vazquez.
The provisional RS podium: The female X is formed by the Dutch Lilian De Geus, first; the Chinese Pei Na Chen, second; and the Italian Flavia Tartaglini, third.
In the Finn class, Catalan Alex Muscat will fight the final race of his class although he does not have options to enter the podium by the difference of points. However, Muscat has been "very happy" for his results. "Clearly, the top ones are better, and this week I have been able to be constant and enter the medal race," said the Catalan. No matter what happens tomorrow, British Giles Scott will hang the gold medal. The provisional silver is for Dutch Nicholas Heiner and the bronze for the kiwi Andy Maloney.
The last sleeve of the Laser Standard has unlocked Joaquín Blanco until post eleven of the general and the canary has been seven points away from getting into the final race tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Australian Matthew Wearn has taken advantage of the day to strengthen the first position. New Zealand Sam Meech, second, and Croatian Tucci Stipanovic, third, complete on the provisional podium.
The male class 470 has been the only one in which the gold group has not been able to complete the planned program and closes the fifth day of the Sofia Iberostar with only one test disputed today, to add a total of nine sleeves in five days. The best Spanish team has been the Catalan duo formed by Jordi Xammar and Nicolás Rodríguez, in seventeenth position. In front of the fleet, and with the gold already in your pocket, there are the Australians Mathew Belcher and William Ryan. The silver will be fought by up to four teams, with the Turks Deniz and Ates Cinar being the provisional subchampions, followed by the Germans Simon Diesch and Philipp Autenrieth, third in the general.
In RS: X male, the French Louis Giard will face the last race as the leader of the fleet followed by Polish Pawel Tarnowski, second, and Danish Sebastian Fleischer, third. On the other hand, no national regatist has achieved the passage to the medal race, being the Andalusian Juan Manuel Moreno, 13 in general, the best Spanish followed by Ivan Pastor, 18, and Angel Granda, 22.
In 49er FX the Spanish representation says goodbye to the Majorcan race with the Catalan Aura Miquel and Nuria Miró as the best national crew, at the 22 of the general. Her companions Patricia Suárez and Julia Rita, who did not compete either Wednesday or Thursday for the injury of the team's patron, today have completed two sleeves and close their participation with a 25 in the general.
The gold of the FX is for the Dutch Annemiek Bekkkering and Annette Duetz, who have gained an advantage of almost 40 points over their compatriots Odile Van Aanholt and Marieke Jongens, second. The third drawer of the provisional podium is occupied by New Zealand Alexandra Maloney and Molly Meech.
Who has also already secured the gold medal was the Danish Anne- Marie Rindom, the undisputed leader in Laser Radio. On the provisional podium are also British Alison Young, second; and Dutch Marit Bouwmeester, third. For its part, the Spanish Martina Reino, the only national representative in the gold group of its class, ends the Majorcan race at position 39 of the general.
Tomorrow, the 49 Princess Sofia Iberostar Trophy will celebrate its last day with the fight of the medal race for each class, the final sleeve of double score and not disposable after which the podium of the balear competition will be made. The award will be held at Ses Voltes, at the foot of the cathedral of Mallorca, at 8 p.m. The link for the classifications is as follows:

The last day of the 49 Princess Sofia Iberostar Trophy has compressed to the maximum the fleet, which tomorrow will have the last chance to certify the pass to the Sunday's medal race.
The Spanish team of Iker Martínez and Olga Maslivets has climbed to the third position of the Nacra 17 class after completing a day with two seconds and a third in the sleeves of the day. Martínez / Maslivets occupy the third podium drawer with 66 points while the Italians Ruggero Tita and Caterina Banti are first with 27. The second position is for the British Ben Saxton and Nicola Boniface, with 34. "We are happy, it is the first season with the new ship and everyone has taken a step forward. There is a lot of equality in the fleet and every day we learn something new," Martinez said. The Andalusian windsurfers Blanca Manchón and Marina Paliau continue to fight to approach the podium of the Sofia Iberostar while strengthening their options to compete on Saturday's medal race. On the one hand, Manchón, today with two novies, ends the day in fifth position, seven points from the podium. On the other hand, Paliau has a position and is already seventh, although it is eleven points behind Manchón.
In 470 male, the Catalan Jordi Xammar and the Galician Nicolás Rodríguez continue their ascending trajectory and raided the eighth square of their class. "We have gone from less to more and we hope to keep going up. It's all very tight, tomorrow we have to complete a good day; of that it will all depend," Xammar said.
For their part, the Canaries Onán Barrerios and Juan Curbelo have also managed to improve their results and finish the fourth day of the Sofia Iberostar in position 17. Meanwhile, the Australians Mathew Belcher and William Ryan lead the fleet with a 31-point advantage over their direct pursuer, the Turkish team of the Cinar brothers.
In 470 female the Catalan canary team of Silvia Mas and Patricia Cantero has completed one of its worst days, with a partial of 9 + 16, and goes down to the eighth position. Mas y Cantero have 50 net points for 31 of the third classified, the Nipon team of Kondo and Yoshida. With 21 points, the French, the Lecointre and Returnaz, while the British Mills and Mcintyre are second, with 24 net points. Also in the gold group of the 470 female, Bàrbara Cornudella and Sara López are at the 13, six points from the tenth square. Sofía Toro and Ángela Pumariega are located in a twenty-third position.
In the Finn class, Catalan Alex Muscat has added his worst results today in this record edition of the balloting competition, with 43 + 16, closing the day in the eighth position, although only ten points from the third ranked, the Swiss Nils Theuninck. The class is led by the British Giles Scott and completes the podium, in second position, the Dutch Nicholas Heiner.
The Federico and Arturo Alonso brothers continue in the eleventh position of the 49er class after a last sleeve to forget. "A bad maneuver has brought us into a negative dynamic and we have lost more than ten places," explained Arturo Alonso. The Asturian crew has said that, "even having completed two very good races," he returns to the ground with "bad taste of mouth" by the result of the last test. With a few partials on the day of 7 + 6 + 20 (discarded), the Alonso are ten points away from entering the stage medals. The British Dylan Fletcher-Scott and Stuart Bithel follow the class.
One lime and one sand for Joaquín Blanco in Laser Standard after adding a second and a 32 in the two sleeves held today. The canary has fallen two posts in the general and is now in the 19th square, six points away from getting the pass to the medal race this Saturday. At the head of the fleet is the Australian Matthew Wearn, who has unbanished from the leadership of New Zealand Sam Meech, today second. The head trio is completed with the Croatian Tucci Stipanovic.
The Alicantino Ivan Pastor, 14 in general, continues as the best Spanish in the RS fleet: X male next to the canary Angel Granda, to a point of his partner. With eight disputed tests, the fleet is led by the French Louis Giard, who adds five third parties and one first as the best partial results. The Danish Sebastian Fleischer is second and the Polish Pawel Tarnowski completes the provisional podium.

04 / 04 / 2018: The Sofia-Iberostar began the final series in Palma today

The strong wind that has blown in the bay of Palma has led to fast sleeves with spins and spectacular images
The fleet of the 49 Princess Sofia Iberostar Trophy today has started the final series with a strong wind from the west, which has offered an intense day for the 1,215 regatists from 62 countries that meet in the Bay of Palma until this Saturday. The results of this hard third day of competition, after which the Spanish army has podium options in at least three classes, have been the consequences of the hard third day of competition.
White Manchón, in RS: Female X, and the team of Silvia Mas and Patricia Cantero, in 470 female, close the day as the best Spanish crews in the fourth position of their classes. In addition, the Spanish Fernando Echávarri and Tara Pacheco are also in Top 10, fifth in Nacra 17; Alejandro Muscat, seventh in Finn; Marina Paliau, eighth in female tables; and Joaquín Blanco, tenth in Laser Standard.
The Catalan Canarian crew formed by Silvia Mas and Patricia Cantero has made an important leap in the general and is located in the fourth position, three points from entering the podium leading the French dupla of Camile Lecointre and Aloise Retordaz. For its part, Barbara Cornudella and Sara López go up to 11, while Sofia Toro, next to Ángel Pumariega, closes the day in twenty-third position.
The patron Silvia Mas has been very happy with her results: "In the second sleeve 18 knots of wind have entered and Patricia and I have sailed very well. It was one of our weak points and now we feel better when strong wind blows," he said.
The two Spanish who sail in the gold group of the class RS: Women X have benefited from the wind that has blown in the Bay of Palma to rise positions. White Manchón is fourth and Marina Péraau, seventh. Manchon is tied to 21 points with the third classified, the Chinese Yun Xiu Lu. At the front of the fleet is the Dutch Llilain De Geus with 12 points while the second position is the Chinese Pei Na Chen, with 18.
The Nacra 17 have starred in the most spectacular images of the day with the fleet fooling with winds of more than 15 knots. With these conditions, the Galician canary team formed by Fernando Echávarri and Tara Pacheco is in fifth position after adding an 8 + 23 (discarded) + 4. In the second manga, the Pacheco crew has suffered a fall and the ankle has been damaged, although it has had time to recover because the fleet has been postponed on the ground for three hours between the second and the third manga.
On the other hand, the team formed by the Basque Iker Martínez and his partner Olga Maslivers, who today added to their DNC + 20 + 10 locker, goes down to the General's 12. A fall in one step by buoy in the first manga has prevented the Spanish team from completing this test, which are discarded. In this incident "we have broken a candle, so in the next two sleeves we have seen ourselves in tears," the donostiar pattern has pointed out. The Nacra 17 fleet, with a total of nine completed tests, is still led by the Italian duo Ruggero Tita and Caterina Banti.
The Catalan Alex Muscat descends to the seventh position of the Finn class after completing a very complicated second sleeve. "I have turned three or four times and it has been very difficult to remount," said Muscat, who still remains eight points from the podium. For his part, the British Giles Scott has become at the top of the classification followed by the Finnish Tapio Nirkko and the Italian Alessio Spadoni.
In Laser Standard, the canary Joaquín Blanco has been able to get among the top ten in his class today while his partner Joel Rodríguez has been dishung to the 28 General. At the top of the provisional podium is New Zealand Sam Meech, bronze in Rio 2016.
Jordi Xammar and Nicolás Rodriguez rise ten positions and finish the third day of the Sofia Iberostar at the 14th place of the fleet of 470 men. The Catalan team has used a third place in the first manga of the day, and a 15 in the second, to remount the competition and approach the top 10 of the class. His companions, the Canaries Onán Barreiros and Juan Curbelo, have run worse and with a partial of 19 + 26 on the first day sailing in the gold group, have gone down to position 21 of the provisional general.
The RS: X fleet has been one of the last to go out to sea and has faced a wind of almost 20 knots. These conditions have pushed French Louis Giard to the first position of the podium, with Polish Pawel Tarnowski and Danish Sebastian Fleischer in second and third position, respectively. These same conditions have favored the Alicantino Ivan Pastor, who has passed from post 22 to 14, being the Spanish best classified in the male tables.
In Laser Radial, the Dutch Marit Bouweester maintains the lead although the Danish Anne- Marie Rindom has tightened the classification to just three points from the first square. The provisional podium is closed by the British Alison Young. For its part, Martina Reino, only Spanish in the gold group, is 43 of the general.
In 49er FX, the Dutch Annemiek Bekkkering and Annette Duetz have today added their fifth first in eight tests and strengthen the class's leadership, with a 14-point advantage over the second classified, the Danish Ida Marie Baad Nielsen and Marie Thusgaard Olsen. The Spanish Patricia Suarez and Julia Rita are at 20, while Aura Miquel and Nuria Miró are a square behind. Both crews have not competed in the second test of the day: Suarez has suffered a shoulder injury and Miquel / Miró have not been able to complete the last sleeve due to strong wind conditions.
03 / 04 / 2018: Spain at the door of the finals with six crews among the top of the Sofia

Six Spanish crews are in the Top 10 of their classes, with Fernando Echávarri and Tara Pacheco, third in Nacra 17, as the best national representatives (Photo Jesus Renedo)
The 49 edition of the Princess Sofia Iberostar Trophy is being the largest in history for many reasons. There are 1,215 regatists, 870 boats, from 62 countries; the race committee rides eight different fields every day and today the organization has completed 58 tests, the absolute record of the world's largest Olympic sailing race.
With two days of competition on the back, the fleets of the Sofia Iberostar tomorrow will begin to navigate divided into gold and silver groups (and some will have bronze group), which means the beginning of the final series to get the pass to the medals races that will be played on Saturday 7 and in which only the ten best classified in each category will participate. The day, with a wind of 10 knots from the south-west, has been resolved with six Spanish crews in the Top 10 of their classes: Fernando Echávarri and Tara Pacheco are third parties, and Iker Martínez and Olga Maslivets, seven, in Nacra 17; Alex Muscat, fourth in Finn; Blanca Manchón, fifth in RS: X female; Onán Barreiros and Juan Curbelo, eight in 470 male; and Silvia Mas and Patricia Cantero, nine in 470 female.
The Galician Fernando Echávarri and the canary Tara Pacheco, current subchampions of the world and of Europe, are now up to the third position of the class Nacra 17 with some partial on the day of 1 + 2 + 1. The Spanish team is nine points from the leader, the British tandem formed by Saxton and Boniface. In addition, the other Spanish team of the class, the one formed by the Basque Iker Martínez and his partner Olga Maslivets, occupies the seventh position of the general.
Catalan Alex Muscat goes down to the fourth place in the Finn class after having contested two tests in which he has added a 23 (discarded) and a 12. However, Muscat issues 19 points with the third ranked, the American Luke Muller, both five of the leader, the Swiss Nils Theuninck. The provisional podium completes, in second position, the British Giles Scott.
The world champion of RS: Women's X, Chinese Pei Na Chen, is held in front of the tables with three first and one fourth. While the second square is for the Dutch Lilian De Geus, the third position has a triple tie to 9 points between Bryony Shaw (GBR), Victoria Chan (HKG) and White Manchon. The Andalusian, although yesterday did not dispute the first sleeve, as it broke a saber a few minutes from the exit, has three third and is in the fifth position, dismissing a DNC.
The return to 470 of the Canaries Onán Barreiros and Juan Curbelo makes it clear that the experience in the candle is heavy. With four disputed tests, the canaries occupy the eighth position of their class, only eight points from entering podium positions. At the head of the fleet are the Australians Mathew Belcher and William Ryan, silver medalists in Rio 2016. Along with Barreiros / Curbelo, the team formed by the Catalan Galician team, Jordi Xammar and Nicolás Rodriguez, who are currently in the 24 General, has also been able to enter the gold group.
Three Spanish crews have obtained the pass to the gold group of the class 470 female, after two days and four sleeves disputed. The Catalan canary duo of Silvia Mas and Patricia Cantero leads the national team from the ninth position while the Catalan Bàrbara Cornudella and Sara López are at the 12th place. "Yesterday we had a bad day and today we have managed to raise many jobs; now we only have to get in a little more wind and we can implement everything learned this last month of training," said Cornudella. For their part, Sofia Toro and Angela Pumariega have "achieved the goal of entering a gold group" and close the day at position 21.
In the 49er class, the Assyrian brothers Federico and Arturo Alonso have gone up to square 13 with a partial of 8 + 2 + 18 (discarded) + 11 + 5 + 6. "We have achieved the first goal; we knew that entering the gold group would be very complicated but we have fought to the end," said Arturo Alonso. The Asturian has claimed that the day has been "complicated, with a very unstable wind" and has recognized that they have been forced to "raise positions in a race" so as not to fall off the head. The Alonso brothers are in post 13 with 32 net points, seven to enter the top 10, leading the English team Dylan Fletcher-Scott and Stuart Bithell.
With a record participation of 183 boats, the Laser Standard class is the largest in the Sofia Iberostar. In the first position is maintained the Australian Finn Alexander, who adds seven net points to four tests. The best-ranked Spanish after two days of competition is the canary Joaquín Blanco, which occupies the 18th place of the general. Along with Blanco, the canary Joel Rodríguez (30) and the Catalan Món Cañellas (45) have made their way to the gold group of their class.
The provisional podium of the male tables is very disputed and the advantage between each position is only one point. Israeli Yoav Cohen is first; Swiss Mateo Sanz, second and Chinese Ye Bing, third. The best Spanish in the classification is the canary Ángel Granda, who occupies the place 14 to only seven points of the podium. The Alicantino Ivan Pastor is in square 22 and the Sergi Scandinell Ballet is in position 24. The regatist of Formentera has claimed to have had a complicated day. "The off-line of the last test complicates things to me because I have lost the option of discarding," said Scandinell, who says that "tomorrow the direct battle begins" for the medals.
In the 49er FX class, the Dutch Annemiek Bekkkering and Annete Duetz are firmly leading the fleet, in which two Spanish crews have made their way to the gold group: the Patricia Suárez and the Julia Rita Ballet are at 20 and their Catalan companions Aura Miquel and Núria Miró are the first two.
The classification of the Laser Radial has taken a turn after the dispute of the two sleeves today and the Greek Vasileia Karachaliou has climbed to the first position. The provisional podium is completed by Swiss Maud Jayet and Dutch Marit Bouwmeester. For its part, the only Spanish that has achieved the passage to the gold group has been the Canaria Martina Reino, at position 48 of the fleet.
02 / 04 / 2018: More than 1200 regatists in Palma on the first day of light sailing of the Sofia
After the first day of Sofia Iberostar, Catalan Alejandro Muscat, leader in Finn, is the most prominent Spanish. Also among the top ten of their classes are the Galician Luis Bugallo and Jorge Lorenzo, rooms in 49er; the Canaries Joaquín Blanco and Joel Rordíguez, fourth and seventh respectively in Laser Standard; the Catalan Canadian crew formed by Silvia Mas and Patricia Cantero, seven in 470 W; the Basque Iker Martínez and his partner Olga Maslivets, octavos in Nacra 17; and the Andalusian Marina Paliau, tenth in female tables.
The Viguese Luis Bugallo and Jorge Lorenzo are rooms in 49er, tied to points with the French Lucas Rual and Emile Amoros, third parties. The class is led by the Danish team of Jonas Warrer and Jakob Precht, who beat the Poles Dominik Buksak and Szymon Wierbzbicki at only one point. On the other hand, the Assyrian brothers Federico and Arturo Alonso are in place 15 of the general.
The 470 female has a very tight classification after completing two sleeves. With the Swiss Linda Fahrni and Maja Siegentahler in front of the fleet, the Catalan Silvia Mas and the Canary Islands Patricia Cantero are in seventh position. The Spanish crew has started the day winning but in the second test they have added a 13 after "a very strong role." As Mas explained, in the first fenced the wind has turned a lot and the fleet has been divided into two; "they looked like two different races." Still, the employer has been optimistic and happy. "We always want to do better, but we're on the right track," said Mas.
The two Spanish crews of Nacra 17 end the day among the top 15 in their class after completing three sleeves. Iker Martínez and Olga Maslivets occupy the seventh position with a partial of 5 + 4 + 6, and their companions Fernando Echávarri and Tara Pacheco are in position 12 with 9 + 13 + 2. The fleet is led by the Italians Ruggero Tita and Caterina Bantin, who have won two wins and a third position. The provisional podium is completed by Santi Lange and Cecilia Carranza, in second position, and Ben Saxton and Nicola Boniface, third parties.
The women's boards, which are divided into two groups, have been able to complete two tests with a light wind of the ESE that has been well taken advantage of by the current world champion, the Chinese Pei Na Chen, who has signed two first. The second position is for the British Bryony Shaw, bronze in Beijing 2008, and the third drawer of the provisional podium is occupied by the Polish Zofia Noceti, the absolute winner of the 2017 edition of the Sofia Iberostar. For its part, Marina Paliau, with a 4 + 10, closes the top 10 of the class.
The fall of wind in the RS: male X field has forced you to leave the second manga and return to the ground with only a disputed race. The fleet, which is divided into three groups, is led by the three winners of the day: Tao Li (CHN), Makato Tomizawa (JPN) and Bing Ye (CHN). The Ibo.es won the two sleeves in J80 and took two points to the Mnemonic, by Sebastian Allebrodt. The Aloja, by Pablo Ariel, occupies the third place of the general with six points, four of the leader.

The Petrouchka III, by Jaime Binimelis, was the fastest of all ORC, but the time compensation relegated it to the second position of group 1-2, where the Nadir and the Histolab, by Juan José Torres, command the provisional podium. In class 3, the Airlan Aermec and Pro-Rigging, by Miguel Capllonch, maintain a hard struggle, followed by the Emergènces Setmil.
