The Club de Regatas Mar Menor in Los Urrutias has today closed the fifth test of the I Circuito Mar Menor, Trophy Estrella de Levante, and has done so with the same tonic with which it has been developing since it started the circuit last January in Lo Pagán, with much equality between the fleet and also with good weather conditions that have allowed to complete the planned program.

Eowin 2 Spagnolo in ORC 3 by Gabriel José Martín who today has had to settle for the second square. The Club de Regatas Mar Menor, in Los Urrutias, hosts on Saturday, April 21, the fifth test of the I Circuit Mar Menor, Star of Levante for the ORC Cruise class with a coastal tour of about 9.3 nautical miles. After the departure in the vicinity of the club the fleet will set its way to Perdiguera Island and from there to Rondella Island, leaving both on starboard to conclude with the arrival line located in front of Los Urrutias.

After competing the race in the CN Lo Pagán, RCR Santiago de la Ribera, CN Mar Menor Los Alcázares and CN La Puntica, Eowin 2 Spagnolo (CN Cabo de Palos), by Gabriel José Martín, leads the provisional general in ORC 3. After a discard, the ship of Martín has 4 points, while Bella Creola (CN La Estacio) by Manuel Ortín is second with 6 and Olympia (CN Mar Menor) occupies the third place with 8 points.

In this line, the ORC 4 class maintains the same path with a 2-point margin between Albana 2 (CN Los Nietos) of Salvador García and Trinitri (CN Mar Menor). The third square, at 6 points of the leader, is occupied by Jesus Herta (CN Lo Pagán).

The I Circuito Mar Menor of Cruises, Estrella de Levante faces the final line and does so by closing the fourth test, there are three tests, in the Club Náutico La Puntica, in San Pedro del Pinatar. The favorites have fulfilled in this fourth delivery, so the provisional leader in ORC 3, Eowin 2 Spagnolo (CN Cabo de Palos) has been made with the triumph in La Puntica, thus adding its second position (first test in the CN Lo Pagán) in the Minor Sea. This, together with the 2-3 partials achieved in the RCR Santiago de la Ribera and CN Mar Menor respectively, leave him as the interim leader of the group 5 points.

In this group, the second provisional place in the general is for Bella Creola (CN La Estacio) who today has signed a second job after getting the times compensated. Manuel Ortin's ship adds 6 points to 2 of leader, while Olimpia (DNC today) is third to 4.

As for the ORC 4, the Albana 2 (CN Los Nietos) has added its second partial triumph in the Minor Sea, the first of which achieved it in Lo Pagán. The second square is left, for the time being, by Trinitri (CN Mar Menor) who has signed a third in this fourth test. Close the provisional podium Havana (CN Lo Pagán), today has completed the test in the second square after obtaining the compensated times.

There have also been no changes in the ORC Sport and, like the other two ships, in this class Resaca (CN Minor Islands) has also signed two partial wins. In the previous two tests he signed a DNC (Lo Pagán) and 3rd (CN Mar Menor). The figures leave it with 5 points after discards. The second square is for Pampeon (CN La Puntica) that today has achieved a worked and deserved second square. Torpedo Jamonero (Asoc. The second test of the I Circuito Mar Menor Trofeo Estrella de Levante, with the Real Club de Regatas de Santiago de la Ribera, has been closed and can be completed the established coastal route of about 13.20 nautical miles. The J80 have clearly dominated the ORC Sport class, with Resaca (CN Minor Islands) in the first square, while Torpedo Jamonero (Asoc. J80) by José Carlos Martínez has been second. Pampeon (CN La Puntica) of Francisco Robles has been the third in the classification in this second test, once the times have been compensated.

As for the official ranking of the circuit and after the quotes of Lo Pagán and Santiago de la Ribera, the first three temporary places in ORC 3 are for Eowin 2 Spagnolo with 3 points, followed by Olimpia with 6 and Khyru II with 8.

For ORC 4 the provisional podium is composed of Albana 2 with 4 points, followed by Trinitri with 5 and Icue in the third place with 8. The provisional podium trio in ORC Sport is formed by Torpedo Jamonero with 3, Pampeon with 6 and Resaca with 8 points.

The third test, of the seven planned, will be held on March 17 in the CN Mar Menor.

It began with excellent conditions of sea and wind, the first edition of the Circuito Mar Menor of Cruises ORC, the Star of Levante Trophy, in San Pedro del Pinatar in the heart of Murcia. The first place in the class ORC 3 has been for the Trinitri an Oceanis 323 of the CN Mar Menor, followed by Peliana 2 (Astraea 260-CN Los Nietos) of Salvador García, with a corrected time of 00: 06: 17; Smee of Antonio Javier Ros, of the nautical CN Mar Menor with a Serviola 23 (00: 18: 38).

Torpedo Jamonero, a J80 led by José Carlos Martínez, has been made with the first provisional square of the circuit in ORC Sport, while Piolo VII, another J80, by Pedro Adolfo Peñalver, has been made with the second place, followed by Pampeon CN La Puntica, by the shipowner Francisco Robles.

The second test of the Circuito del Mar Menor-Estrella de Levante will be on February 24 at the Real Club de Regatas Santiago de la Ribera

The I Circuito Mar Menor of Cruises ORC, Star of Levante Trophy begins on Saturday at 11: 30 in the morning. A first test, of the seven planned, that starts at the Club Náutico Lo Pagán and does so with 34 registered ships from the clubs of the Náutico Mar Menor, CR Mar Menor, CN Los Nietos, Puerto Deportivo Tomás Maestre, CN Lo Pagán, CN La Isleta, CN Villa de San Pedro, CN El Estacio, RCR Cartagena, to which three foreign units are incorporated from the Community of Madrid, CN Cervera; Comunidad Valenciana, CN Dehesa de Campoamor and Castilla León, ADC Al Andris. The last race will be held at the Tomás Maestre Sports Port on June 16.
