Two crews have finished undefeated after the second day of the Christmas Race, a race of Olympic and youth classes of the World Sailing, which is held in the waters of Palamós Bay. The Germans Simon Diesch / Philipp Autenrieth in 470 Male and the Pere Ponseti Ballet in Laser Male Radial, were the only ones who won the three contested sleeves. After a first day in the absence of wind he delayed the premiere, in the second the tramontana entered with desire and all the scheduled tests could be disputed.
In the Finn class he leads the Estonian Deniss Karpak who is closely followed by Catalan Alejandro Muscat (CN Garraf) to two points. Muscat marked a 2-1-8. South Africans Asenathi Jim and Alexander Ham also showed their credentials by performing a second in the last sleeve of the day, standing in fifth provisional position.
In 470 Feminine the initial domain is French with Jennifer Porte and Camille Hautefaye, with two first and one second. He was followed by two Spanish crews, those of Silvia Mas and Patricia Cantero (CN S'Arenal / RCN Gran Canaria), who performed a 3-6-1 and Bàrbara Cornudella and Sara López (CN El Balís) with a 4-3-6. The Olympic Champions Sofia Toro and Angela Pumariega (RCN La Coruña / RC Astur) occupy the seventh place.
The 49er class was the one that most of the trials contested, four, in which the head is very equal with the Italian Simone Ferrarese and Valerio Galati as the first classified after adding an 1-6-6-1. They are followed by two German crews at one and two points respectively, Max Stingele / Linov Scheel and Gwendal Lamay / Luke Willim. The first Spanish crew is that of the Galician Luis Bugallo and Kiki Lorenzo (RCN Vigo), who occupy the ninth position, their positions were 6-4-8-9.
In Laser Standard he leads the French Frank Lavenent, who has been the most regular in the largest fleet within the Olympic classes with a 3-5-3. The Italian Marco Gallo is second and the Polish Filip Ciszkiewicz is third. The Carlos Roselló (CN Ibiza) is the first Spanish, sixth to six points from the honorary posts.
In Laser Radio Feminino the world champion, the British Alison Young, leads the general after a quarter and two first, although it is tied to points with the second, the Hungarian Maria Erdi who has performed a 1-2-3. They both have 6 points. Third to two points is the Dutch Maxime Jonker. The first Spanish in Catalan Laura Oliva (CN Vilassar de Mar).
The Pere Ponseti (CN Ciutadella) has not given the rest of the Laser Radio Male fleet a choice. Three first positions place him at the front of the table. The second is the British Arthur Brown at eight points from the leader. Third is the Austrian Keanu Prettner.
In the 420 class that in the Christmas Race is Open, two crews of the CN El Balís dominate the fleet, are first Eduard Ferrer and Carlos de Maqua and second Nacho Dávila and Javier Mestre. Ferrer and De Maqua started with two first and one third.
The Europe class is the guest class at Christmas Race with 45 participants. It is first the Catalan Oriol Piña (CN L'Estartit) after a second and two first. Marc ArruFat (CN El Balís) follows him with a first and two quarters. Close the podium posts, the German Maurice Oster.
