The Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón, held last Friday the Gala de la Vela Anual, in which a large part of the trophies played during the year were delivered, including: the Spring Trophy, Summer and Autumn of Light Sailing and Cruise, the Asturias Championships of Optimiss, Laser is their different modalities and Snipe, the Regularity Award, the Asturias Championship of Vela Radio Control, etc. All of these tests organized by the Gijón Regatas Club during this season and that have been in many hours of competition, both in light sailing and in cruise sailing. The award was long, in total about 50 trophies were delivered, it should be noted that the light sailing regatists of the Gijonese Club collected trophies in all disciplines.

For his part, the Snipe Fleet Captain of the Regatas Club, José Carlos Alegría thanked the President, Alfredo Alegría for the Club's commitment to the Snipe fleet, giving him a Class tie; when it was announced that the Snipe Spanish Cup next year will be held in Gijón, under the organization of the Real Club Astur de Regatas.
