Three regatists receive grants from the program Andalusia Olympic 2017

Fernando González de Lamadrid Trueba, Ana Moncada Sánchez and Arturo Montes Vorcy received their scholarships from the Plan Andalucía Olímpica 2017 in a massive event held in Seville... at the event of delivery the regatists were accompanied by the president of the Andaluza de Vela, Paco Coro
The Secretary General for Sport of the Junta, Antonio Fernández, gave in Seville sixty athletes and six technicians the scholarships of the 2017 Olympic Andalusia Plan, which, with a total amount of 104,000 euros, has increased this year by 65% its budget.
This plan, managed by the Fundación Andalucía Olímpica (FAO), is aimed at athletes and technicians attached to the federations with tests included in the Olympic and Paralympic Games of 2018 and 2020, and this year it has granted aid to 40 men and 26 women, 53 from Olympic and 13 from Paralympics.
This list includes the Regatists Fernando Lamadrid Trueba of the Club de Mar Puerto Sherry, Ana Moncada Sánchez of the Club Náutico de Sevilla and Arturo Montes Vorcy of the Real Club Marítimo and of Tennis de Punta Umbria, with sufficient merit to obtain these aid. The Commission has made it clear that the very high level of the sporting merits presented in this call has to be included. In the case of Lamadrid and Moncada, they opt for the FUTURE grant, and for the so-called ODP.
