The three headquarters host 11 classes with 375 regatists, which will compete for the title of champion in the Valencia Community Olympic Week, highlighting the Laser fleets in Torrevieja and the Raceboard, Formula Windsurfing and Kiteboarding in Alicante as valederas for the Spanish Cup

The Comitat Valenciana Olympic Week, which comes to its fourth edition this year, has started the countdown... it does so in the three venues that will host during the three days of competition to the 11 classes that will finally compete, with a total of 375 regatists: Laser in Torrevieja; Finn and Class A in Valencia and Raceboard, Bic Techno, 420 and Kitesurfing in Alicante.

These include, for their interest, being valid for the 2018 Spanish Cup, the fleets of Laser (Torrevieja) and Raceboard, Forula Windsurfing and Kitesurfing (Alicante) being the last of the three that score for the national title. The Citation of the Comunitat Valenciana also has another important incentive for local regatists as the Laser 4.7, 420 and Bic Techno are suitable for the Autonomous Cup of the FVCV.

A lot of level at all headquarters so it provides for a very competitive race. In the RCN Valencia, with the Finn fleet, it is the one with the highest international representation, with six countries: Argentina, Austria, Ireland, New Zealand, Ukraine and Iran, which is joined by Spain with very high-level regatists, case of the Palmesan Joan Cardona (RCN Palma), David Sánchez (CV Blanes) or Andrés Lloret (CN Campello), member of the technical team of the FVCV (CETEC), in addition to José Luis Doreeste (CN Port D'Aro) in the Grand Master category.

The Alicante RCR will be one of the points, headquarters, to take into account in this edition of the Olympic Citation in the Community. The Kiteboarding fleet is incorporated into the sports program and does so with the best of space, with a total of 22 registered from 3 countries: Austria, Germany and Spain, a country representing the Region of Murcia and Comunitat Valenciana.

In the pre-Olympic double fleet 420 many are the options to set up a podium, although everything points to the girls of Jávea: Julia Miñana and Silvia Sebastiá to be at the first position of the podium, in the beginning, as from the Region of Murcia comes the mixed couple formed by Diego López and Carmen Coello (RCN Villa de San Pedro).

In Formula Windsurfing, Raceboard and Bic Techno the Alicantina headquarters again has the best fleet of speciality, the vast majority of the Comunitat Valenciana, although, as is usual, there is also another of the best, case of Andalusia and its representatives of the CN Sevilla. They are joined by representatives of the Balearic Islands and Catalonia, who are always at the top.

The Torrevieja RCN, for its part, ultimately concentrates all its activity on the Laser. In the Standard fleet, several important names, but two stand out: Jesús Rogel (RCN Torrevieja) and Carlos Martínez (RCR Santiago de la Ribera), both were at the time on the Olympic team. But they will not be the only 'prominent' ones, also include Món Cañellas (CN Cambrils); Carlos Roselló (CN Ibiza) or Ismael Iess (RCN Gran Canaria) to quote one of them.

With 72 registered in Laser 4.7 from Catalonia, Murcia Region, Balearic Islands and Valencia Community, as well as the representatives of Norway, Russia and Poland, the list of favorites to make a possible podium is wide. Jordi Lladó (RCN Palma), the premises José Mª Wandosell and Jose Luis López (RCN Torrevieja), Lara Sabine (RNC Calpe), Helena Sánchez (CN Los Nietos), Marcos Altarriba (RCN Valencia) or Mariona Rahola (CN El Balís) point to be in the drawer next Sunday at the headquarters of Torrevieja.
