Valencia Boat Show received about 15,000 visitors this year
The Valencia Boat Show, a Valencian nautical hall held from 1 to 5 November in La Marina de València, received a total of 14,728 visitors in its five days of exhibition, with a 50% increase in the sale of tickets compared to last year. The Valencian nautical hall equates the numbers of visitors of the last edition despite having two days less duration - five days instead of seven - and a single day of open doors and free access compared to the two of 2016.
Thus, in the 2016 edition the average of daily visitors was 2,142, while this year has been 3000, which represents 40% more average visitors per day. The day of open doors brought together about 8,000 people who came to know the exhibition of new boats, engines, accessories and nautical services and to participate in the free activities held on Sunday in La Marina de València.
The representatives of the hall confirm that operations have been closed and there are others in progress that will be closed in the coming weeks, and that this year's turnover is expected to far exceed the figure of 4.3 million euros for the sale of ships last year.
