The first edition of the Rebuergometer Ence Trophy was held in the Pontevedresa village of Marín for the base rowing equipment of the Abanca Week, representing schools of the Pontevedra era. In action organized by the Galician Federation of Remo, with the support of the Club of Remo Ria de Marín, the Club of Remo Vila de Cangas and the Club Marítimo de Vigo, two hundred promises that offered almost two hours of very bright competition, in the Pavilion of Sequelo that was fully crowded. The victory for the Immaculate One, being the silver for Saint Narcissus and the bronze for Seixo.

It was important to highlight the quality of some of these young values, both among the boys and among the girls, case of Nicolás Parada who managed to cover in his 45 seconds of sprint no less than 196 meters. After the pontevedrés Brais Sestelo just four meters away and in the third position Pilar García, who surprised for its power to be just three metres from the boy who occupied the second square, and ahead of 197 rivals, of which more than 60 percent were male. They completed the top ten of this first edition Hugo Loira, Anxo Martínez, Manuel Filgueira, Diego Sanjorge, Hugo Loira, Iria Misa and Carlos Santiago.

On the other hand the Organizing Committee of the Abanca Week agreed with the Galician Federation of Remo, to postpone the Iberian Cup of Olympic Remo, which should be held on Saturday, due to unsaved logistics problems. It is already confirmed for this new date, which was consulted to the Lusa federation, participation of numerous Spanish and Portuguese clubs. Now the Abanca Week is going to the Ria de Baiona, where with the organization of the Mount Real Club of Yates will be held next week, Iberonautics and as a colophone the Lexus Breogan Cup, for cruises by counter-clock system.
