Abanca Week: Great success of the Gala del Remo Galician ENCE in Marín

In a crowded auditorium was held in the Pontevedresa villa of Marín, the Galician Remo Gala framed at Abanca Week and which had the organization of the Galician Remo Federation, and the support of Ence and the Consistory itself. The event was presided over by the maximum authority of the villa: María Ramallo and was attended by the secretary of the Sport of Galicia, Marta Migez. The night star was the pontevedrés athlete Rodrigo Conde, who was awarded the award as "best international performance of the year" for his extraordinary achievement of a bronze medal at the Sub23 World Championship.

In total, 25 distinctions were given, with 20 of them being for the "best clubs" from the alevin categories to the absolute, and in all cases of male and female rank. In this large group the two clubs that won the highest number of awards were the Remo de Tui and the Perillo of the municipality of Oleiros in La Coruña... in both cases there were three awards. Behind them is a Coruñés club: Noia, and another Pontevedrés: the Tiran de Moaña Sports Society. With a distinction remained Ribadeo, Cedeira, Ferrol, Bergondo, Santa Eugenia de Riveira, Cabo de Cruz de Boiro, Mecos de O Grove, Sanmertolameu de Moaña and the Clube de Remo Ria de Marín.

The individual awards, in addition to that of Rodrigo Conde, were for the Vigo referee Ramón Rodríguez, the Herculino technician of the Perillo, Rafael Ordóñez. This list was completed by the president of the Chapela Remo Club, Julio Jesús Prado and the promises of the Club do Mar de Noia: Caetano Horta and Daniel Freería. The third edition of this Galician Remo Gala, which is part of the project of the Concello de Marín and Ence, to make the villa pontevedresa a reference of the national and international rowing. For next Friday, the Remo Ergometer Ence Trophy and for Saturday the last date for the rowing at Abanca Week: the Iberian Olympic Remo Cup. The winners:
