The Club de Remo Rianxo was established in the first rowing cycle of the Abanca Week, held on Saturday day in the waters of the river of Pontevedra, in Marín with the Galicia Ence de Bateles Cup in play. The Coruñés club demonstrated its power by winning in the four categories of men: alevines, children, cadets and youth. The other two categories that were female were distributed by the Remo Vila Clube of Cangas and Samertolameu of Meira. In Rianxo's undisputed victory, followed precisely by Vila de Cangas and the legendary club of Samertolameu. For next Friday ergometer rowing races and Saturday the Iberian Olympic Remo Cup, with the Ence Awards and the Marin Concello in play.

In female promises the gold and silver remained in the Ria of Vigo: Vila de Cangas and Tiran, the bronze being for the Coruñesas of Rianxo. Return to the Abanca Week in the Ria of Pontevedra, by the Concello de Marín and Ence, with the organization of the Galician Federation of Remo, the Remo Ria de Marín Clube, the Maritimo de Vigo Club, the Remo Vila Clube of Cangas and the Real Club Mar de Aguete. More than a thousand athletes from all over Galicia and northern Portugal will be in competition, first this weekend at the Galicia de Bateles Cup, and then next for the Remo Ergometer Ence Trophy and the Iberian Olympic Remo Cup. The organization of the Abanca Week with the Concello of Marin and Ence, they aim to make the river of Pontevedra a reference within the rowing at international level, and this edition is proof of the way forward.

A total of 13 clubs in the provinces of Pontevedra, La Coruña and Lugo with half a hundred male and female batels compete in the Galicia Ence Cup that will start at 4: 00 in the afternoon. On-line exit Samertolameu, Chapela, San Martiño, Vila de Cangas, Tiran, Rianxo, Bueu, Ares, Robaleira de La Guardia, Virxen da Guía de Vigo, Mecos, Moaña and Meira. After the Galicia Ence Cup, at 7: 30 in the afternoon in the auditorium of the Colexio Illa de Tambo, the Gala do Remo Galego will be held that sponsors the Concello de Marín.
