After more than a month dedicated to sailing and pyragüism, the Abanca Week reaches the river of Pontevedra by the hand of the Concello de Marín and ENCE with the rowing competitions. In total more than a thousand athletes of traditional rowing, ergometer rowing and Olympic rowing will participate in this order in the Galicia de Bateles- Concello de Marin Trophy, the ICE Remo Ergometer Trophy reserved for school sport and finally in the Iberian Remo Olimpico Cup - Grand Prize ENCE. The Gala do Remo Galego, with the award of the Galician Federation of Remo, will be held on Saturday from 7: 30 in the afternoon, in the auditorium of the Colegio Illa de Tambo de Marín. The rowing cycles are organized by the Galician Federation of Remo, the Organizing Committee of the Abanca Week, the Ria de Marin Remo Clube, the Vigo Maritime Club, the Cangas Remo Vila Club and the Real Mar de Aguete Club.

With the presidency of the mayor of the villa pontevedresa, María Ramallo, the event of official presentation of these events sponsored by Concello and ENCE, which are framed in the Abanca Week, took place in the Municipal Palace of Marín. As it closes the next day for the first time in Marín at the Abanca Week there will be Olympic rowing, with the Ibérica- Grand Prize ENCE.
