The Galicia Cup brought the best Bodyboard to Doniños with the National Open Circuit 2017

The Gallegos Bruno Martín in Sub16 and Sub18; Iago Díaz in Open and Sergio Menendez in Dropknee were awarded the triumphs in a trial that brought together more than 50 participants in what was the second test of the National Circuit of Bodyboard 2017... organized by the Galega Federation of Surf, the second edition of the Galicia Cup of Bodyboard was held in the Ferrolana beach of Doniños on a day when the sun, waves and the good environment were the protagonists.

Powerful waves and hard conditions at some times of the day, made efforts for all competitors to demonstrate their level and reach the final stages. In the junior categories, the Galician Bruno Martín demonstrated his great state of shape by winning the victory in Sub 16 ahead of the Galician Alvaro Ramos, Iago Bértalo and Luis Tausin and also in Sub 18 ahead of the Ferrolians Nano Couto, Javier Fidalgo and Ismael Bustabad. In Dropknee's category, he was surprised by the victory of the local Sergio Menendez in his first participation in an official trial. After him, the Galician Iago Díaz, Yiyi Obenza and Jose Manuel Rivera.

Iago Díaz did the same in the Open category, performing a very solid ending in which he managed to add a total of 13.50 points, thus imposing himself on the Galician Braís González (11.66 pos) and Nacho García (6.83 pos) and the Andalusian Jesús Suarez (6.50 ptos).

After this second test, the Bodyboard Open 2017 National Circuit will move to Tenerife in November to contest the test organized by the Punta Blanca Club in which 1400 very valuable points will be distributed for the general classification.
