Record of participation in the end of the European circuit of AquaX in the Balís
The Club Nàutic El Balís will welcome on 14 and 15 October the final test of the European circuit of AquaX water bikes. It is a world-wide championship with two versions, European and American. A record number of participants will be concentrated in El Balís, a total of 71 registered pilots from different parts of Europe.
The United States is the country with the greatest interest in water bikes, not in vain it has 10% of all motorcycles worldwide. In Europe, the hobby for this sport is increasing, and in Spain, the hobby is growing very significantly in recent years.
The Nàutic Club El Balís has not been foreign and is why it has chosen to be within the AquaX circuit, the most important in the continent and which was born in 2013 and that in 2016 it had the final release that has been consolidated in 2017 with championships in Agon-Countainville (France), Cardiff (Wales) and the final in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres.
The AquaX has two categories, Enduro and Sprint, which in turn are divided into three more. The Sprint consists of the Junior, Spark and Ski Lites categories, while the Enduro is formed by Pro Am & Enduro with powers of 300, 250 and 200 hpc.
In Enduro Pro, the British Joseph Harvey (Kawasaki-Ultra 310R) arrives in the leading Balís of his category after having won the two tests of the season. The same applies to the French Thomas Batisse (Yamaha GP1800) and Ton Iluciano (Yamaha VXR) in 300 and 200 hpc, respectively.
In Sprint the British dominate, in Spark Tom Miller (Yamaha) and in Lites Simon Gill (Kawasaki SXR 800).
Among the Spanish participation stands out in Enduro Pro, the canary Alejandro Molina (Sea-Doo RXP-X300), a pilot who just proclaimed himself the champion of the King's Cup last weekend in Mazarro (Murcia). He also stands out the Tarraconense Jordi Tomàs (Sea-Doo) in the Spark category, the current continental subchampion, and that comes out of an injury that has removed him from the circuits in recent months with which he returns to the competition in El Balís.
The tour is between buoys and each sleeve has a duration of 30 minutes in Enduro and between 10 and 15 minutes the Sprint.
The competition will start on Saturday 14 October from 13: 00 with the celebration of two sleeves and on Sunday 15: 00 a.m. with the celebration of the third and fourth sleeves, with which the season and the European circuit AquaX Pro will be closed.
