First points for "Mapfre" in an amazing environment in Alicante

The Spanish team Mapfre has made history by rising with a strong triumph in the first coastal race of which consists the regatta back to the world Volvo Ocean Race, held in Alicante. Xabi Fernández's team, with Pablo Arrarte on the wheel, has shown perfection by reading a complicated race field.

13 / 10 / 2017: All prepared in Alicante for the beginning of the previous Volvo

12 / 10 / 2017: The seven VO65 are already in Alicante ready to start the Volvo Ocean Race

The seven leading teams of Alicante, Puerto de Departure de la Vuelta al mundo a sana already rest in Alicante since the early morning of October 12. The crews enjoy the Race Village among the public, as well as recover from their journey, and the staff of the ground teams put the VO65 boats in their moorings of the port of Alicante, in view of the visitors.

Alicante lives its greatest splendor on the second day of the Race Village of Alicante.
