The Olympic Slalon champion in Rio 2016 Maialen Chourraut along with the palists Lucía Arquero, Emma Gómez, Lorena Vinuesa and Claudia Ruiz have today held the representation of Spanish pyragüism in the signature of the renewal of Iberdrola's sponsorship to the Women's Universe, a joint project with the Higher Council of Sports.

The president of Iberdrola, Ignacio Galán, and his counterpart of the CSD, José Ramón Lete, have signed the agreement at the event held in the athletics tracks of the Centre of High Performance in Madrid, to which they have come the most responsible of various federations, including that of the Spanish Federation of Piragüismo, Juan José Román Mangas.
