Abanca Week: Adriana Pérez Canal wins the Kinder Trophy of Leixóes

The lack of wind in the waters of the Great Port made it impossible for on Sunday to complete the program scheduled for the Abanca Week, so the judges gave good the results of Saturday in the first act of the Kinder Trophy of Optimist, with the victory of the Orensian regatist Adriana Pérez Canal of the Maritime Club of Canido, ahead of the Lusian Mario Soares of the Clube de Vela de Viana do Castelo and the viguesa Paula Rocha.
The judges commanded by the local Lusitans at the week Abanca Joao Allen and Miguel Pinheiro, who are confirmed in the staff of the European Vigo Championship 2018, did the impossible because the young athletes of both countries at least completed one of the scheduled sleeves. The best the Royal Nautical Club Rodeira was the Pontevedrés Pablo Trillo that reached a meritorious 11th square... in total took part a quarter of the fleet by Galicia: 20 ships.
The event was organized by the Leixóes Atlantic Sailing Clube, the reference of the Portuguese light candle, which gives the renews to the Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón that organizes the second act in the coming 13 and 14 days. 07 / 10 / 2017: Canido and Viana command in Act 1 of the Kinder Trophy of the Abanca Week
The Orensian regatists Adriana Pérez Canal that competes for the Club Marítimo de Canido, leads at the end of the first day, the Meeting Cidade de Matosinhos in the Gran Porto, the first punctuable date for the Kinder Trophy of the Abanca Week, which is organized one of the reference clubs of the Portuguese candle: the Clube de Vela Atlántico de Leixóes. Good performance in general of the Galician regatists, with Adriana and Paula first and third, but in a handkerchief with the Lusian Mario Soares that is second. In the fourth place already at a certain distance Liang Jane from the Maritime of Canido, behind him two Lusitans Alves and Marquito, and in the seventh square another Galician Helena Pérez. The Abanca Week has its fifth cycle in Portuguese waters with the Kinder Trophy that in its first chapter will be held with the organization of one of the most important European light sailing clubs: the Atlantic Sailing Clube of Leixóes, which has just celebrated the 49er World Cup with remarkable success. It will be the first delivery for the children's-cadet candle with regatists basically from Galicia and Portugal, which is the antecedent of the second quote of the "Kinder Trophy," the Meeting Villa de Gijón that will take place on the bridge of Hispanity, with athletes from Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, the Basque Country and Catalonia.
In the Grand Port, a hundred regatists, with high quality, will begin on Saturday at 1: 00 p.m. (Portuguese time). On the part of Galicia, the Orensana Adriana Pérez Canal and the Vigués Mario Soares appear as the highest candidates, which were imposed in the last edition of the Kinder Trophy.
