It was held in the waters of San Lorenzo Bay, the last day of the Autumn Trophy of Vela Ligera, which organizes the Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón, proof that it closed the season of regatas, after an intense year of competitions.

Excellent closing day in terms of weather, with a wind, which blew with an average intensity of 12 knots of Northeast component, on a sunny day, and with an ideal temperature, if we take into account the time of the year in which we are.

Leticia Pelayo to the cane and Carlos Ordoñez de proel, made two good exits and placed themselves at the head of the Snipe fleet from the beginning of the tests. A fleet that has gradually grown and more and more ships are going through the exit line. With two first in their locker on the day and after eight sleeves disputed along the Trophy, Pelayo and Ordoñez took the first place in the general.

The second position was occupied by José Palacio and Alberto Suárez, always very competitive and with three first positions along the Trophy, they had to settle with the second square only two points from the first. Alvaro Alegría and Juan García- Ovies would close the podium posts.

In Optimist and with three contested sleeves, Covadonga Fernández with a full of wins is the winner of the Trophy, followed by Eva Martínez, with Carmen Simal in third position.

Among the Optimist, the triumph was for Covadonga Fernández, the second position obtained it, Ignacio López and Eva Martínez would end in third place. The Laser 4.7 third class in liza del Trofeo, Diego Jiménez was the best, followed by Fernando Alonso and Jacobo Fernández.

In class II, the Leonidas, by Juan Manuel Quevedo, would win the manga ending in second position in the general, behind the Ita II, of Pedro Guerra second in the day and winner of the Trophy in his class.

The announcement of orange alert throughout the Cantabrian coast already forced Friday, to make the decision to suspend the sleeves of Sailing Light scheduled for Saturday. In Class II, the Ita II of Pedro Guerra remains in the head of his group. It was held in the waters of San Lorenzo Bay, the third day of the XXIV Autumn Trophy of Cruise, of the Club de Regatas. In the first test of the day, the Great Sailing One, by Fernando Alonso, for the first time won a race of the Trophy, that is, for just a second difference over the Santiniebla-Lener, by José Luis Alonso, holding the third position the University of Oviedo- Grupo Isastur, by Roberto Alvarez Bucetas.

In the second manga, the Taxus Medio Ambiente, by Alfredo Flórez was the fastest, and with the triumph achieved in the test he is the leader of the Trophy, tied to points with the Santiniebla-Lener, by José Luis Alonso, fifth in the second manga. The second day of the Light Sailing Fall Trophy of the Regatas Club was held, only one test was completed and thanks to the expertise of the Regatas Committee, which was able to make the most of the bad wind conditions to celebrate one of the two scheduled sleeves. Leticia Pelayo and Carlos Ordoñez were clearly imposed and with this victory they lead the provisional general classification of the Trophy. 25 / 09 / 2017: Alvarez Hevia-Braña and Pelayo-Ordóñez command in snipe in the Autumn Trophy of Gijón

The Autumn Trophy began in Gijón for the Snipe class organized by the Real Club Astur de Regatas, which lead the couple Jaime Álvarez-Hevia and Ignacio Braña, equal to points with the tandem composed by Leticia Pelayo and Carlos Ordoñez, both of the Regatas Club. In future dates will join the snipes, the optimist and the laser.

Weather conditions on both Saturday and Sunday were very similar, with an excellent time. As for the intensity, the wind blew loose, of the North component on the first manga on Saturday to roll west on the second, while on Sunday the north-east came out which would reach a maximum of 9 knots.

In the opening day, equality in the first positions was evident from the beginning of the first race, Jaime Álvarez-Hevia and Ignacio Braña won the first manga in the last stretch of girded to the line of arrival, followed by, Leticia Pelayo a la cane and Carlos Ordoñez acting on this occasion of proel. The third square was obtained by José Palacio and Diego Jiménez. Jaime Alvarez-Hevia and Ignacio Braña, with a third and a second place in the day, are placed at the head of the provisional general. The second place in the general tied to points with the first ones is for, Leticia Pelayo and Carlos Ordoñez, with a second and third place on Sunday.
