25 teams of clubs from all over the north-west of Spain and the northern Lusian were unable to complete the Gadis Laser Extreme which organized the Bouzas Maritime Liceo, the third cycle of the Abanca Week, because of the eruption of a very thick fog bank in the river of Vigo, which made it difficult to visibility beyond two hundred meters and clearly endangered the integrity of the athletes, as it is a traffic area of merchant ships and passengers. With the participants launched in search of the second turn by barlovento, the fog began to worry the judges, as the visibility fell from miles of meters, to the five hundred and shortly after to the two hundred few; the logical decision was made: to annul. At the edge of five and a half in the afternoon it was again attempted, but the fog still further invaded the river of Vigo... and the feared final annulment came.
