The Marine entity of Andalusia, to which the vast majority of the Andalusian sports ports belong, has confirmed to the different media generalist that the global occupation in the summer in the facilities of its associates reached 85% and that it generated a turnover for the 17 sports ports, of the order of the seven million euros... data relating to the months of June, July and August.

José Carlos Martín president of this entity has expressed that these nautical facilities generate about 350 jobs in a direct way, and more than twenty times the indirect ones... the total job generation is estimated at about 7,200 jobs... for Martín "these data are encouraging and show that the economic activity generated by the sports ports must be taken into account by the administrations for their volume and economic importance in the Andalusian area."
