On Sunday it began in Gijón Bay, the Autumn Trophy of Cruises, a long-run test that is disputed on alternate weekends for 5 days and will end in mid-November. The Cruise class I had two sleeves to complete the cane course of approximately 1.6 miles per stretch on two occasions, while the Cruise class II had only one test with three girds and three soups. The wind blew from the West component, with an intensity of between nine and fifteen knots, sea of wind on a gray day. In the second manga the wind rolled more than 30 degrees north, and therefore the race field had to be changed.
At Cruise I, the first test was for the Wanted, by Ricardo Simal, who made a magnificent manga. Simal who joined the Gijón races after having participated in the Rolex Fasnet-Race, read the race field perfectly as the only ship in the fleet that sailed on the beach of San Lorenzo. The second position was for the Taxus MedioAmbiente, by Alfredo Flórez, followed by the Santinifera, by José Luis Alonso. In the second manga, the best was the University of Oviedo- Grupo Isastur, by Roberto Álvarez- Bucetas, a triumph that would lead the general classification of Class I, the second place was obtained by the Santinifera and is also second on the table. The third square was for, Fernando Alonso to the cane of the Great Sailing One. Third in the general is the Wanted that would end in fifth position on the second sleeve.
In class II, the ship of the Civil Navy, Espumeru patroniado, by Daniel Ponte was the fastest and is located at the head of the group, followed by the Leonidas, of Juan Manuel Quevedo and of Ita II, of Pedro Guerra. The second day of the XXIV Autumn Trophy will be held on 1 October, the first manga is scheduled for attention at 1300 hours.
