"Relative Obscurity" by Peter Duncan of the United States was a just winner

The American J70 "Relative Obcurity" with Peter S.Duncan to the cane of the American Yacht Club has been proclaimed in the waters of Porto Cervo in Italy new world champion of the international monotypes class J70, with a total and absolute domain. Second day blank for the 162 ships in Porto Cervo registered in the J70 Class World Championship that is sponsored by Audi and that organizes the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. The north-west that blew relentless on the first day above 50 knots, went down in the second until 30... however the Regatas Committee, chaired by Mark Foster, rightly decided not to compete at the edge of three o'clock, local time in Sardinia. The organizers expect a sea that can be assumed in terms of the height of the wave, and no more than 20 knots of wind... with these conditions would already be held several sleeves. However, the harsh wind conditions have prevented the start of the world-wide event, registering at the Mast of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda rachas of more than 50 knots, winds of more than 90 km / h.

Under these circumstances, the great Spanish fleet is concentrated on land preparing the sailboats that, in all likelihood, can sail on a day that will begin to classify the ships that will go in each group, of the three in which the many participants have had to be divided.
