Vicente Boluda and the management team of Boluda Corporación Marítima attended the ceremony of the first tugs carrying the corporate image of the Spanish company, of the 18 that make up the fleet based in 6 ports of Germany
The president of Boluda Corporación Marítima, Vicente Boluda Fos, accompanied by the vice president of Boluda Towage and Salvage, Vicente Boluda Ceballos, the vice president of Boluda Lines, Ignacio Boluda Ceballos, and the directors Antonio Bordils, Gorka Carrillo, Fernando Caracciolo, Charo Coll, Pepa Cermeño, Pedro García and Jon Gárate, who were accompanied at all times by the directors of the German companies, attended last Thursday, 31 August, the act of amadrination of the German company, by the four-year German company of Rügres (Rügres, organized by the company of Hamburg).
These four twin tugs, which after their acquisition have been called "VB Prompt," "VB Perfect," "VB Rasant" and "VB Resolut," are of the ASD Tug 2411 type and were built in the Dutch Daren shipyards. They have 24.50 meters in length, 11.30 meters in manga, a 5.50 meters, 5.54 meters in point and a fixed-point shot of 74 tons. The ships are equipped with two Caterpillar engines, each with a power of 5,632 HP and are specialized in port trailer, offshore and sea rescue.
This acquisition meets the strategic criteria of geographical expansion and fleet renewal and increase in which Boluda Towage and Salvage is immersed in recent years. The 6 German ports represent a significant reinforcement in the service that Boluda has been providing in Europe, as well as on the western coast of Africa, Indian Ocean, Latin America and the Caribbean, with a total of 95 ports and a fleet of 250 ships.
