The Spanish Pyragüismo has today added three new international medals, the gold of the Catalan Nuria Vilarubla in C-1 at the Final of the Slalom World Cup, and two in the 2017 Marathon World Championship with the second and third place in C1 of the Galician Manuel Garrido and Manuel Antonio Campos Vilarubla (108.37) has been awarded in C1 the fifth and last Slalom World Cup, disputed before their public at the Parc Olimic de Segre in the Seu d'Urgell, their home town.

In the marathon mode, in the 2017 World Cup that tomorrow concludes in the South African city of Pietermaritzburg, the palists of the Kayak Tudense Manuel Garrido and Manuel Antonio Campos have achieved the second and third place in C1 with records of 2 hours, 12 minutes and 39 seconds and 2 hours, 15 minutes and 21 seconds, respectively, also in marathon the Spanish-Leoness Eva Barrios has been fourth in K1 (2h.06m.27) and the Catalan Aurora Figueras has not finished the race in K1.

08 / 09 / 2017: Good level of Spain at the Canoe Slalom World Cup in the Seu de Urgell

The qualifiers for the semifinals of the World Cup have been held today, with a very positive role of the Spanish palists: 10 of the 13 palists of the National Selection have passed to the semifinals of Saturday and Sunday, in a very special circuit, as it has played the same circuit of the Olympic Games of the 92, on the occasion of the 25 years of its celebration.

Maialen Chourraut was sixth in K1
