The GC32 Oreza Corsica Cup fired with a dramatic final day in which Realteam took away Malizia Yacht Club de Monaco a victory that seemed safe for Pierre Casiraghi's team. The Swiss team achieves its second season win and consolidates its leadership on the GC32 Racing Tour. Calvi Bay fired the GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup with a good day in which the fleet was able to play a session of the Anonymous Speed Challenge and five point tests that closed the championship with a total of 14 partials. 15 / 09 / 2017: "Malizia" of Casiraghi holds the lead in Corsica in the GC32 Series

Calvi Bay has not made it easy today for the GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup. Winds above 20 knots of intensity kept the fleet on the ground until 15: 30. The day was resolved with a session of the Anonymous Speed Challenge and two sleeves barlovento-sotavento. The Australian .film Racing was the best of the day, but the Monegasque Malizia - Yacht Club de Monaco retains a strong leadership for the final day.

The third day of the GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup began with the speed tests of the Anonymous Speed Challenge, consisting of two sections of the way and a transfered to check which equipment was able to establish the best maximum speed. Despite a breeze below 10 knots, the fleet average was above 15 speed, highlighting the brand of the Realteam of Jérôme Clerc, established at 18.38 knots, just a sigh above 18.25 of Simon Delzoppo's .film Racing.

After the speed tests the action in the race field began. If yesterday's protagonist was the Malizia - Yacht Club de Monaco (with five wins of five possible), today it was up to him to shine to the .film Racing, which signed a victory and a second to break the winning streak of the Monegasque team. In fact, the Malizia suffered a bad luck blow at the bottom of the first test, falling into a well by sailing on the wrong side of a fish farm that formed an obstruction on the left side of the field, ending fourth. Coming from behind, .film Racing was moving to get on top and take his sleeve off.

In the second manga, Malizia - Yacht Club de Monaco resumed the performance with which he dominated the previous day, this time with Pierre Casiraghi back to the helm and Sébastien Col in the major. For the last day of the GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup competition, the first sign of attention has been advanced at 11: 00. The intention is to perform two other sessions of the Anonymous Speed Challenge followed by up to five sleeves. The classification is as follows:

1 Malizia - Yacht Monaco Club 1 5 1 1 1 1 1 4 1 = 16 points
2 Realteam 2 1 5 4 3 5 5 2 3 = 30
3 Argo 5 2 4 2 4 2 3 5 6 = 33
4 Team ENGIE 3 3 3 3 6 3 2 6 4 = 33

14 / 09 / 2017: "Malizia" by Pierre Casiraghi to command in the G32 of Corsica

The Monegasque Malizia - Yacht Club de Monaco has signed a perfect day in the waters of Calvi after scoring five wins of five possible in complicated navigation conditions. The ship armed by Pierre Casiraghi is the new leader of the GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup. The second day of competition of the GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup began with a forecast of hard wind and wave, so the Regatas Committee decided to anticipate the first departure of the day three and a half hours from the scheduled schedule. A decision that would be proved right in the end. The fleet was able to complete five barlovent- sotavento sleeves with intensities between 10 and 25 knots and a roll wind that at times tested the ability of the crews to preserve the integrity of their GC32.

The former French timonel of America's Cup Sébastien Col was back to the command of the Malizia - Yacht Monaco Club by Pierre Casiraghi, the best team of the day. "I think in the first two sleeves we sailed well, better than the rest of the fleet, and we probably had a little luck with the roles. Looking for the third we had already gained confidence, and everything worked perfectly on board". Col, expected to be replaced to the helm by Pierre Casiraghi before the end of the week, was assisted by British Olympic regatist Richard Mason to the tactic. To score five of five possible wins in the competitive GC32 fleet is an exceptional achievement.

The five partial wins allow the Malizia - Yacht Club de Monaco to escape with 11 points of advantage at the front of the provisional, ahead of the Jason Carroll Argo (4-2-4-2-3 today), which leads by the minimum to the French Team ENGIE de Sébastien Rogues (3-3-6-3-2). The weather forecast for tomorrow, the third day of competition of the GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup, indicates more stable conditions in the afternoon, in the surroundings of 15-18 knots. The Regatta Committee will try to meet the program that indicates the first departure of the day at 12: 30 and the holding of the ANONIMO Speed Challenge sleeves.

13 / 09 / 2017: "Realteam" leader in the G32 in Corsica after a very hard day

The first day of the GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup began with light breezes that were increasing in intensity until presenting conditions specific to the purest ocean navigation. The fleet premiered its lockers with two sleeves that allowed the Swiss Realteam to return to Calvi as the first leader of the last GC32 Racing Tour 2017. The forecast of the opening day of the GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup indicated a progressive increase in the intensity of the wind to the unnavigable for the fleet of flying catamarans GC32. In anticipation of these conditions, the Regata Committee sent the fleet to the race field three hours earlier than planned, with first exit at 10: 00 in the morning.

At that time, the wind already exceeded 20 knots of intensity and the surface of the water began to rise above the ideal for the navigation of the GC32. Malizia del Yacht Club de Monaco scored the first partial victory of the penultimate championship test, this time timed by the experienced French regatist Sebastian Col, who today replaced Pierre Casiraghi to the Monegasque catamaran.

In the second of the day, the Monegasque team failed to pass through the second barlovento beacon and lost several positions in a test won by the current leader of the GC32 Racing Tour, the Realteam of Jérôme Clerc. The Swiss team was crossing the goal ahead of the American Argo of Jason Carroll, who was named on this occasion by the American Anthony Kotoun.

After completing two sleeves, the fleet was sent back to Calvi in the hope that the conditions will smooth face to face. The leader at the end of the first day of the GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup is the Swiss Realteam after having scored today a second and a first.
