The Genil River will be for the second consecutive year the stage that will host the Spanish Championship of SUP-River

The SUP River is a Paddle Surf mode in which athletes descend the river on their SUP boards. A discipline in which expertise and speed are decisive when it comes to completing the path drawn by the river. This year, the SUP River Spanish Championship will be a unique test that will be held in the river that is born in Sierra Nevada and will run into the Guadalquivir, the Genil River. The municipalities that bet on this event, which is also a source of tourism, are the towns of Cuevas Bajas and Benamejí. On 8 and 9 September, this second edition of the Spanish SUP-River Championship will be held, with two tests that will add up to each other:

On Friday 8, at 17: 00, the competition with the slalom test will be opened at the Benameji Renaissance Bridge. A tour between 300 and 400 meters in length in which participants will show their expertise, skill and skill on the table. Then, on Saturday 9, at 10: 00 hours will take place the descent test in which it will score the speed with which the participant is able to complete the marked route. This test will consist of two categories: Popular (11.5 km) and Open (16.9 km). A quote that will crown the new Spanish champion in a spectacular natural setting.
