With five factories spread between Spain and Portugal, the group has the largest industrial area in the sector

The Rodman Group again has all its capital in the hands of Manuel Rodríguez, having repaid the Viguese businessman 60% of the shareholder package held by the "Chinese group" since 2015: in the hands of the European subsidiary of the Asian world China Sonangol that has its headquarters in Singapore.

CS Europa Research had 60% of the Group's shares, having been acquired 40% by the Rodríguez Family (Abada) and the remaining 20% by the MetalShips company itself, which has allocated them to self-portfolio.

The Chinese group began the connection with Rodman when it proceeded to order 50 glass-reinforced polyester ships of which 40 were high-speed patrol and 10 catamarans to be used for passage.

The acquisition of the stock package by the Asians was made at different stages, also acquiring the logistics platform of half a million meters that the Viguese group has in Valença de Minho, in northern Portugal... even though in this case it was a theoretical takeover, as the Chinese never broke into the development of the Fifth Suevia of Valença.

The news of the yard's repurchase has been collected with great satisfaction in the sector. the factory of Meira in Moaña in the middle of Vigo, is already working on several orders, some of great importance such as the one signed by the Sultanate of Oman.
