Spain in kayak polo wins the final of the 4-2 European Championship to Germany

The Spanish team presented four teams in the French town of Saint Omer: senior and sub21, male and female
The senior male team, after the July achievement of the bronze medal at the World Games held in Poland, was prepared to face the European Championship with the ambition of going up to the top. The approach of the Spanish combination was totally strategic, with the aim of entering the semifinals without much wear and without showing all its bazas for once there to fight with all its weapons.
After a first phase, having left second group when he defeated Russia and Sweden and lost to Italy, the senior Spanish team went to the second phase in a group composed of Portugal, Denmark and Germany feared. The team did the duties by winning Denmark and Portugal, allowing it to move to semi-finals as a second group by losing to Germany.
The semifinal crossing was facing Italy. With the one we had lost in the first phase group and with the thorn of having left the team out of playing finals in the last championships... Spain entered the final to face the unbeatable Germany... the final result was 4-2, in the only party in official competition that the combined German lost, was produced in a final infarction.
The senior female team played the 7th to 10th position on the last day of competition and losing against Denmark with a tight 2-3 faced Sweden in the fight for the 9th position. The Swedish team remained solid at all times and the Spanish combined was unable to overcome it by ending the championship in 10th position. The sub-21 boys had the opportunity, in the group phase, to move to the semifinals in a disputed match against the current world champion, England. And when they lost this game, they moved away from the top, getting the 9th position. He also highlighted the performance of the female sub-21 team at the end of the 6th, a meritorious place, considering that it was his first international competition and having an average age of just 17 years.
