In the Cruise class I, the triumph was for the "Santiniebla-Lener" of José Luis Alonso for the first time,, Alonso with grympola of the Astur Club of Regatas sailed heavily to the larger ships of the class; the "Taxus MedioAmbiente" of Alfredo Flórez and the "Great Sailing One" of Fernando Alonso. In the end, once the time compensation was made the "Santiniebla-Lener" was the best for only 21 seconds on the "Taxus," which in this way was classified in second position, after five consecutive years achieved the gold. For its part, the "Great Sailing One" ended in third place 44 seconds from the first. For his part, "Ita II," by Pedro Guerra repeats the triumph achieved last year in class II, followed by the "Carla" of German Alvarez- Hevia and the "Leonidas" of Juan Manuel Quevedo.

31 / 08 / 2017: The dean race of the Gijon Regatta Club this weekend: the El Comercio Trophy

This weekend will take place in the waters of the Bay of San Lorenzo, the twenty-seventh Regata Villa de Gijón de Cruises - Trofeo El Comercio, which organizes the Real Club Astur de Regatas, and the sponsorship of the morning El Comercio The Decana test of the Club gijonés, will gather in the Bay of San Lorenzo a large part of the fleet of cruises of the Villa of Jovellanos, as well as units from other Asturian ports. The boat to beat is, the Taxus Medio Ambiente, by Alfredo Flórez winning in Cruise I, and first in the joint general classification in the last five editions.
