The British Dylan Fletcher-Scott and Stuart Bithell have proclaimed themselves the 49th Class World Champions in Portuguese waters in a world that has organized the Atlantic Sailing Clube of Leixóes. In 49erFX it was the Danes Jena Mai Hansen and Katja Salskov- Iversen who took the gold. The 49 er today completed four races of the gold group, while the 49 er fx managed to perform the races of the medals. The silver in 49er was for the British also James Peters and Fynn Stortt, being the bronze for the Austrians Benjamin Bildstein and David Hussl.

In 49er FX, Támara Echegoyen and Berta Betanzos have finally been severed. Támara Echegoyen and Berta Betanzos are in the eighth position of the class after a great day of competition in which they have added an 18 (discarded), 2, 5 and 3. Tomorrow they'll be fighting two races and, if they can seal their ticket, they'll compete in the medal race. "Seeing that we continue to fight with the best is a good sign for us. Our goal tomorrow will be to navigate well and not make mistakes," he has condemned. For their part, both the sisters Carla and Marta Munté (33) and Patricia Suárez and María Alonso (49) have also climbed positions in the general classification of their class.

Without having sailed today and with only six disputed tests, the classification is very tight and the first 15 have real options to rise with victory. The Spanish team formed by Diego Botín and Iago Ópez-Marra is one of the favorites to get a stand on the podium and part from the second position. The Federico and Arturo Alonso brothers, who are currently 11 in the class, are only 10 points from the first classified, the British Fletcher-Scott / Bithell.
