"Ziralla Primero" wins in Portosín the Sea of Finister- Smursa Sabín
Extraordinary regatta closure in the third edition of the Smursa Sabín Trophy that for ORC cruises organized the Royal Nautical Club Portosin. With a 45-degree north-east, which carried an intensity of 14 knots at 12 noon, it allowed the two coastal sleeves to be held with a circuit between buoys, enabled by the Committee throughout the Ria de Muros and Noia.
With this premise the favorite to the golden scepter of the podium did not let pass its opportunity and, although for just two seconds of difference from the second classified of the general, the First Ziralla finished the work begun on Saturday with the rise to the Carrumeiro Chico, in the inlet of Finisterre, in which he placed himself leader. The sailing boat of the Real Club Náutico de Sanxenxo, patroniado por Ramón Barreiro, managed its times and advanced to the Siradella, of Francisco Gude, of the Real Club Náutico de Portosín, being third in this list another local ship, the Wind of Levante, of Fernando González.
By Divisions, in the Regata Class, the First Ziralla also took the triumph, with a second place for Siradella himself, occupying the third square the Entropy, sailing boat of the portosinense nautical. In Regata- Cruise the highest drawer of the podium has been for the Wind of Levante, followed by the Kanala, of Ignacio Ecenarro, also of portosin, closing the drawer with the bronze the Piko Norte, of José Manuel Castro, of the Nautical Club of Boiro. With regard to the Open, the leader was Totem II, Felipe Calle, followed by Xelos, José Manuel González, and Papilote, Leandro Quintela, the three of Portosín.

The "Ziralla Primer" patronioned by Ramón Barreiro of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo, is the leader after the first day of the Regata Mar de Finisterre-Situsa Sabín that organizes the Royal Nautical Club of Portosin, in waters of northern Galicia. The exit of the first manga a coastal race of about 40 miles, has been punctual with a beautiful fan without incident of consideration... the fleet has had to turn a beacon to dismark just over half a mile from the exit... the wind of the north-east established with about 15 knots of speed has caused a fast and very competitive race.
For the most competitive ships, incorporated in the Divisions of Regata and CruceroRegata, the rise from Portosín to the Faro del Carrumeiro Chico was established, located in the vicinity of the mouth of the Corcubion River, in the inlet of Finisterre, drawing 40 total miles, between the way and the return, with an extraordinary landscape in its way, such as the Playa de Carnota, Area Longa, Mount Pdo, the Cascade of the Ézaro or the bass of Las Lobeiras. For the minor Divisions it was sailed to the islet of Brullos, two miles from Mount Louro, sailing a round trip.
In the provisional general, the "Siradella" that has Francisco Gude as a cane occupies the second position, the third being the "Wind of Levante," by Fernando González... both of Portosín. As a close for Sunday another coastal route inside the Muros and Noia ría with beginning at 12: 00 in the morning.

The third edition of the Pitusa Sabín Trophy was presented in the main hall of the Real Club Náutico Portosín, with the presence of its sponsors, Dominga Sabín and Jacinto Hernández. It was recalled two main keys to this sports event, which as Mar de Finisterre reaches its 29 years, the oldest of the club: its free, without any additional cost, registration or mooring.

This is why the first day will be sailed from the entrance of the port of the Royal Nautical Club Portosin to the inlet of Finisterre, doubling the Faro del Carrumeiro Chico and returning back to Portosín, route that will be carried out by the Regata and Crucero-Regata, performing the Cruise less miles, without having to enter the Finisterrana bay itself, turning the islet of Brullos, near Mount Louro. On Sunday, the Pitusa Sabin Trophy Committee prepares a coastal tour between buoys inside the Ria de Muros and Noia, flattened to the wind and forming a wide triangle.
Among the 20 ships are two favorites, who will have to stage all their expertise: the Siradella of Francisco Gude, winner in 2016; and the Wind of Levante, of Fernando González himself, who already knows what it is to win in the great races.
