The crews of Manuel Páez / Pablo Flethes (CN Puerto Sherry / CN Sevilla) and Lucía Páez / Angela Merello (CN Sevilla), and the individuals Antonio Coronilla (CN El Trocadero), Manuel Ocillero (RCN of El Puerto de Santa María), Alba Sierra (CN El Trocadero), José Vicente Citation (RCN of El Puerto de Santa María), Alejandro Arauz (CN Puerto Sherry), Susana Ridao (CN Puerto Sherry), Gonzalo Cano (CN Elcano) and Natalia Moreno (CD Isabel II) have proclaimed themselves to be the 46th week of this week.
In optimist sub 13 the absolute victory is for the regatist of the CN Elcano, Gonzalo Cano, who rises two posts thanks to the discard and a good last day in which a partial victory fits. The women's champions, Lucía Páez and Ángela Merello (CN Sevilla) and the mixed crew of Carlos Parejo and Blanca Boto (RCN of El Puerto de Santa María), are escorted on the podium to stay on the podium after winning the first two tests of the final day.

A very first day in Optimist Sub 13, which translates into a first co-leadership between the regatists Luis García del Medio de Málaga and Natalia Moreno del Isabel II Madrileño, with a partial victory each, resolved in this order to the best partial last with a second of the first against a fifth of the madrileña. Complete the Gonzalo Cano podium of Elcano de Cadiz with only two more points than the previous ones and also solving from its side the tie to points with the fourth classified, the canary Santiago Ceballos, after winning the last sleeve.
In Optimist Sub 16, regularity has a prize and three-second allows the regatist of the Nautico of Seville, Guillermo Moreno, to take a firm step forward and to get first with six and seven points of rent with Alejandro Arauz and Álvaro Tortosa, second and third, respectively, and both with the flag of the CN Puerto Sherry. Tomorrow Thursday August 17th, second and last day to meet the winners of each of the five light sailing classes, with the first exits from 13: 00 and three other poster tests for all except for the skates that will make two others.

The 46th Nautical Week of El Puerto de Santa María will release on Wednesday August 16 with the first qualifying tests for the classes Optimist, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, Sailing Skate and 420. About 200 regatists will be in charge of raising the curtain in the Gaditan bay to the big week of the sailing that also includes the celebration of the 23rd Regata Juan de La Cosa for the Cruise class. Both tests that will come to put next week the point of view in the bay gaditana and the Royal Nautical Club of El Puerto de Santa María were presented this noon on the terraces of the harbour entity.

The Royal Nautical Club of El Puerto de Santa María presents the 23rd Juan de la Cosa and 46th Nautical Week... The event began with a sense of tribute to the person of the director of the Santa María Hotel and Grupo Los Jandalos, Francisco Quirós, who was recently deceased. As a tribute to the memory of a great collaborator and friend of the club, Jose María Escribano gave a banner to the entrepreneur Santiago Cobos to the applause of all present.
One more year the two great harbour races come together to unite efforts and facilitate the participation of the crews that will arrive from the different ports and clubs of the Gaditana province and also from other localities of the Andalusian and Spanish coast. Also for the fourth consecutive year, the light candle will be in charge of lifting the curtain with the beginning of its tests on Wednesday, August 16.
After two days in which the classes Optimist, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, 420 and Sailing Skate will be the protagonists in the Gaditana Bay, on Friday 18 they will begin simultaneously the race homage to the insignia cartograph Juan de la Cosa, last valid test for the Championship of Andalusia of Cruciero in the mode of Circuito, and the one known as the dean for being the oldest race in Spain in terms of the high-level circuit. From that day on, the cruises will compete for three days; two to meet the winner of the Juan de La Cosa and until Sunday day 20 to discover the winner of the coveted gold catavino from cruise and light candle. The Cruise class will provide a number of 40 ships and 400 regatists per week.
The 46th Nautical Week of El Puerto de Santa María and the 23rd Regata Juan de La Cosa are tests organized by the Real Club Náutico de El Puerto de Santa María and the Andalusian Federation of Vela, in collaboration with the RFEV, the City Council of the city within the municipal program El Puerto con la Vela, the Gaditana Diputación and the Junta de Andalucía, with the sponsorship of Grupo Caballero, Cruzcampo, Catunambú, Rives, Coca-Cola, Frigo, Señorío de Montanera, Fundación Rural del Sur, Fundación La Humalas and Grupo Mujerencia, Los Mujeres, Colorencia and Grupo de, La Socutiz, Los Mujeres, La Serra and La Serra.
