The first event of Memorial Guillermo Poyán was held in Villagarcía

In collaboration with the Galician Vela Center, the first delivery was held in Villagarcia of the Guillermo Poyan Memorial, President of Honor of the Club de Mar. This year it is divided into two events, this first in support of the Training Sailing in which 50 alevines participated with a course of one week and that at the end of the course was given an accredited diploma of their participation, delivered by the management of the Galician Vela Center and the monitors who led the course, in a intimate act accompanied by the parents and family of the participants

The second event, consisting of a race of the Snipe class, will be held on the 12th of August for crews that between the two crew members are over 80 years old. Apart from the plates to the first three and memories for all the participants, the winner will take a set of candles sponsored by the European Champion Veleria of the specialty Pires de Lima, this trophy is open to all the Spanish crews that will compete in the waters of the Ria de Arousa.
