Yesterday in the facilities of the Real Club Astur de Regatas, the official presentation to the media, of the race team "Wanted," the first Asian ship to participate in the legendary English high race, held every two years since 1925, and organized the Royal Racing Club. With about 300 registered ships, between professional crews and amateurs, the exit pistolet of the Rolex Fastnet Race will take place on August 6 in Cowes, on the island of Wight in the south of England, to surround the mythical lighthouse, Fasnet Rock in Ireland and return to the English town of Plymouth, with a total of 608 miles of crossing.

On board the Wanted, we find a crew composed of a doctor, a computer, a photographer, a fireman and professional sailors, all of them from Gijón. In command is Ricardo Simal, shipowner, master of the ship, an excellent navigator with many miles behind his back, accompanied by his brother José Simal, Tomás Solarana, Alejandro Cuetos, Ignacio Macías, Enrique Serrano. At the event they were accompanied by sponsors, collaborators and friends who wished them all the luck of the world in their new adventure, including the Club de Regatas itself, the commercial firm the Gaitero, the Puerto Deportivo de Gijón and the City Council.
