Spain took the Grand Prix Castilla y León of Pyragüismo K-4 thanks to the third positions of the male and female races and the results of Valladolid

Argentina repeated victory in men of the K-4 international test, this time in the Zamanian Lake of Sanabria, while Hungary took the thorn out of its Saturday elimination and awarded the Sunday race. However, the first place in the great Castile and León Prize of Pyragüismo K-4 was for the combined of Spain, thanks to the sum of the points of the two tests and, in particular, the third places achieved on Sunday by the two ships, male and female.

On this occasion, the scope of Sanabria allowed for a joint departure of all international vessels. The men's crews, with Portugal and Great Britain, were quickly in the lead, with the attention of Spain and Argentina. However, the first round of the circuit was completed, the South American quartet - with Daniel Dal Bo, Roberto Geringer, Franco Balboa and Sebastián Vergaguen, confirmed that the Saturday in Valladolid was not the result of the accident, and with an almost insulting fortress they were put in first position, with a rhythm of palate to which only the Lusa selection could respond, with the quartet formed by José Ramalho, Ricardo Carvalho, Alfredo Faria and Fabio Cameira.

In the line of arrival, which this year premiered a sense of the march on the Zamoran circuit, a nice sprint was lived between Argentina and Portugal, with victory for the first and with a 19 minutes and 45 seconds, against the 19 '48 "of the Portuguese and 20' 06" of the Spanish team, which occupied the third place with Luis Amado, Javier López, Aitor Gorrotxategi and Ramón Lecumberri. In the female career, it was Hungary that carried the weight of the test, as it did in the first compasses of Valladolid. However, this time there was no mischief in any of the turns, as did the last round on the Pisuerga River, and the Magiar set imposed its strength with palists of the size of Vanda Kiszli, Reka Pethó, Alexandra Bara and Renata Csay, and with a final time of 21 minutes and 55 seconds.

The second place was for the Great Britain national team, with Lani Belcher, Hayleigh- Jayne Mason, Alexandra Lane and Fay Lamph, with a 21 '59 "chrono, while Spain - with María Corbera, Tania Elizabeth Alvarez, Ana Varela and Lucía Arquero had to settle for the third place, and a final time of 22' 02."
The sum of the points of the four races held throughout the weekend, both male and female, resulted in the triumph of Spain in the Grand Prix Castilla and León of K-4, revalidating the one achieved in men last year and premiering the one of women, ahead of Portugal and Great Britain.

The meeting in Sanabria also served to see in action the club boats in the K-4 and C-4 mode but also for the traditional competition of double and individual ships. The Spanish Veterans' Championship for double boats was even held. A national event where the Cisne de Valladolid was the best club of the competition, with 105 points, ahead of the Sports Activities Zamora (100) and the Piragüismo Aranjuez School (90). Of the rest of the races to highlight the triumph of the Zamoran quartet of the Iberdrola in senior K-4 male, of the Cuenca with character in the senior female and of the Piragüismo Aranjuez School in the C-4 male. David Bernabé, from the Cisne Valladolid, won the K-1 sub 23 male, and Alejandro Sánchez (Iberdrola Zamora), senior K-1 male, as the most outstanding regional triumphs.
