Spain had put many illusions and desires to play a good role in the World Team Racing but... The arbitrary decisions in the clashes against Thailand and Turkey, which were not correct, have led the Spanish team to say goodbye prematurely.

The day no longer started well for our own, as due to a technical problem (a lack of anchor) some teams, including Spain, had to wait a little more than an hour and a half in the water. A circumstance that passed the bill given the heat and the high humidity. Already in the first confrontation little work gave the Virgin Islands combination, with a hollow victory. The crossing left difficult and interesting clashes, including Spain against Thailand, and there began the pilgrimage of the successive arbitrary errors that left ours without options.

In the meeting of 'refishing' Spain was to face Turkey and there, again, the arbitrators made serious mistakes that in no way favoured the Spanish team. A beacon touch in which the Turkish regatist himself admitted the offence indicating that it was going to be penalized, the jurys raised the green flag so there was no place to penalize. But it was not the only unfortunate situation in this duel and as against Thailand the Spanish regatists were powerless to see that they said goodbye for third-party decisions and not for their own mistakes.

Spain will have a day of rest tomorrow, not to go to the next round, so it will resume its activity on Tuesday, July 18 with the final series in the individual world, with María Perelló in the gold group and occupying the fifth place in female.
