The Spanish Piragüismo team is already in Plovdiv (Bulgaria), stage from this Friday of the European Championship. Twenty-five athletes, including five from Paracanoe, are part of the Spanish delegation. Some of them will dispute several tests. The competition will end next Sunday. One of the most important dates of the season is more than 500 athletes representing 36 countries. The first contact with the Plovdiv track has been a training. The Spanish team, which includes 12 men and 8 women, has set ambitious targets for the European Championship. The fifteen kayakists and five canoists have the mentality to improve the results of previous editions.

The races in the distances of 1,000 and 500 meters will be the first to be fought. By Saturday the finals will remain and on Sunday the 200-meter tests will be held.
