The city of Fuengirola in the heart of Costa del Sol will host from 1 to 3 September one of the most relevant competitions of the season, the VIII High Fishing Championship City of Fuengirola - Copa de España Easy Port, which will be final to set up the Spanish Team face the European and World Championships of this specialty. It will be two days of competition, under the scrupulous international regulations in force, with hours of 12 hours of fishing per day: between 8: 00 a.m. and 8: 00 p.m., the award ceremony is scheduled on Sunday, September 3 at the Hotel Las Palmeras at the edge of noon.

With the organization of the City of Fuengirola High Fisheries Association, the Andalusian Federation and the Spanish Federation of Fisheries and Casting, sustainability and respect for the environment are the flag of this competition, which will bring together more than 30 ships with two hundred sports fishermen from almost the entire Spanish coast. Two of the great favorites will be, on the one hand, the several times Spanish champion and winner of the King's Cup, the "Macumar" patroniado by Alberto Vázquez of the Real Club Marítimo de Marbella and the local fleet to highlight the "Embrujo" of Bernardo Ortega, who has already won this contest on several occasions. The Copa de España Easy Port has the collaboration of the City of Fuengirola and the Puerto Deportivo of the city of Malaga.

The Martin Códax de Clubs Trophy for the club to get the best score of the Easy Port Spanish Cup will be at stake among others. Also Raymarine and Navionics will deliver valuable awards to the first three classified and the largest piece... but the jackpot will be the winner's direct ranking for international commitments representing Spain.
