The 1st Trip between Gijón and Tazones, organized by the Real Club Astur de Regatas with the support of the Association of Tazones Hostels and Traders and the Royal Spanish Association of Yate Captains, was held under a loose wind from the North, which was rolling to the Northwest during the day, with ups and downs in terms of intensity, on a grey day and calm sea. The ships that sailed further away from the coast were benefited with a little more wind at the end of the journey.

In the Cruise class I, Alejandro Cuetos was surprised and was the fastest of the journey, investing a time of two hours, thirty-five minutes and forty-six seconds to cover the 10 miles that separate Gijón from Tazones. Quetos that made the solo journey has not been able to better begin its journey on board its new ship. The second square was for the Santinimurma, by José Luis Alonso two minutes and four seconds from the first, in corrected time. The Wanted, by Ricardo Simal, who will have the honour of being the first Asturian ship to participate in the prestigious Fasnet, next August, had to settle for the third square, just 4 seconds from the Santinifera. For its part, the Carla, with German Alvarez- Hevia son to the cane, was the best in group II making a remarkable difference in the chrono to its rivals. The Carla made an excellent race, crossing the line of arrival between the cruises of Group I. The second square was obtained by the Silfo, by José Ángel García, closing the posts entitled to trophy, the Ita II, by Pedro Guerra. As a colophone to the race, the award was given, which was held at the Pescadores de Tazones, a spicha offered by the Association of Hostels and Traders of this beautiful marine villa.

Alicia Simal new champion of Asturias of Laser Radio who organized the RCAR of Gijón
It was very difficult for the Regatas Committee to set up the trapeze circuit in San Lorenzo Bay, because of the little wind prevailing throughout the weekend in Gijón. In the end, of the six scheduled tests, three per day, only three could be carried out. On Saturday two sleeves were completed with difficulty, due to the loose wind of North component, of just 5 knots, on a gray day and with the plain sea. In the second test the wind was even lower, and the path had to be shortened in order to finish the sleeve. On Sunday more of the same, very loose wind that caused a delay of about two hours, and where only one sleeve could be completed. Alicia Simal, declared himself the champion of Asturias after winning the two sleeves of Saturday and finishing the Sunday test in second position. Luis Díaz repeats the second place achieved last year, with two seconds in the opening day and one in the closing day. For its part, Bruno Şlez- Manjoya would close the honorary posts with a sixth and two third.
