Spanish Sven Stadel and Danish Anna Livbjerg have been proclaimed champions of the absolute world of the Europe Class world that has been held from July 8 to today in the regatta field of the Club Vela Blanes. For both champions it's not the first time they've come up on the absolute podium of the "dinghi in solit' Europe. The Alicantino Sven Stadel adds up his third world gold. The first was in 2016 in Denmark, the second in 2010 in Sweden, and now it is achieved in Blanes, after several seasons without actively participating in class races, but which has shown that it is still the best in this individual sailing boat, as recognized as very technical.

The newly proclaimed world champion, the Danish Anna Livbjerg, is also not a rookie. She arrived in Blanes as a defender of the title, achieved last year in Italy and has preserved it. Anna Livbjerg's circumstance is very different from Sven's. Active in the class from its 16 years, it has the merit of being the champion of the world, on six occasions, from the year 2012, when it was achieved in the world held that year in L'Cual (Girona- Costa Brava), until the conquered today in Blanes (Girona- Girona Costa Brava).

In the male race, the second position in the ninth race achieved today by Sven Stadel assured him of the gold. He finished the championship with 30 points, and the Norwegian clamp Lars Johan Brodtkorb in this ninth race, which entered in 25 position, towards mathematically winning the Spanish one race before the end of the championship. Sven has chosen not to run the last test of the world. Larss Johan Brodtkorb did have to sail the last race of the day, as after his previous pinch, he did not have the second place of the world. In fact at the end of the 10 races of the championship the Norwegian has been tied to 70 points with the bronze the championship, the German Fabian Kirchoff. The young German premiered on the podium of a world, while the Norwegian won his second consecutive subchampionship, last year he got it in Garda, although Lars has been world champion in 2014 in Denmark and in 2015 in LaRochelle. To stand out in the top ten of the world to the Spanish Oriol ArruFat, which has been left seventh and to Oriol Piña, with a magnificent ninth place.

In women absolute domination of the world multicampeone Anna Livbjerg. The Danish has been impeccable these days, covering the 10 races with the first 5, a second, a third and a fifth, adding at the end 15 points, with discards of 14 and 8. Behind it is the second Danish Anna Much, who has achieved the silver of the world with 43 points, A only five points, the bronze of the podium has been for the Spanish Ascension Roca de Togores, with 48 points, who has defended this privileged square, signing today a 9 and a 5 place, surpassing her partner Elisabet Llargués, which in the end remains fourth of the championship with 60 points, after doing in the races of today a fifth in the first test and a DNC in the last one. Roca Ascension gets its third podium in a global. Before this bronze of Blues, Ascension made one in Brest 2009 (France) and in Sonderborg (Sweden) in 2013, he won the silver. To highlight also the fifth place in the final of the Alicantina Irene Sánchez, which has set its score at 64 and the ninth square of Luisa Puig, which with 85 points in the general, enters the top ten women of the world.

11 / 07 / 2017: Stadel continues leader of the World of Europe in Blues, pending discards

A complicated day for the regatists who aspire to go up in the podiums or win the European class World Championship 2017, which is being held at the Club Vela Blanes. Mathematically nothing is decided when the last day of the championship is held tomorrow.

The Alicantino Sven Stadel (with 28 points) consolidates the leadership of the championship, but his persecutor, Larss Brodtkorb (54 points) is stalking and despite the great difference of points, the Norwegian, if the second discard is produced tomorrow, could get a 21 points that weighs a lot, which would benefit him a lot in case of making two first in tomorrow's races and threatening the gold to the Alicantino, if he does not have a good day. Of all forms this seems difficult and Sven Standel is launched to conquer his third world. Tomorrow he will try to get rid of the pressure of the Norwegian and kill the world. The Danish Emil Munch goes third, tied to 54 points with the Norwegian and persecuted by the German Fabian Kirchhoff, with 59 points. Among them will be the podiums tomorrow.

The situation of the world & apos; s first two positions in the female category was clearer. The Danish Anna Livbjerg (12 points) supports her leadership and aspires again to conquer the world. It would be his fifth consecutive world and although mathematically he has not yet secured it, no one doubts that tomorrow will be another great day in his palmaris. Livbjerg is followed by his compatriot Anna Munch (28 points), who conforms with silver.

Where the day has been complicated has been for the Spanish candidates to the third square of the podium. Eli Llargués goes down to the fifth square, having signed a third position in today's first test, in a manga where his rival, Roca Ascension of Togores was affected by a black flag, off-line, that put Elisabet well on the podium. But in the second race, the withdrawal of Eli Llargués, by a break of against, and the third place achieved by Togores, put him in a privileged third position (48 points), down the Catalan to the fifth position with 55 points, behind the German Tania Tammling, with 53 points, and is put fourth, with the advantage in a possible discard tomorrow to be able to aspire to podium.

The day in general has been difficult. The wind had a hard time getting into Blanes Bay. A covered sky has prevented a stable heat from being generated from the SW, the one known as garby, and then entered a weak south from 170º to 180º, from only 5 to 6 knots of pressure at the beginning of the day. As the day has progressed, the wind has risen from intensity to reach, rolling at W, at the end 9 to 12 knots of pressure. The nerves have been present among the regatists. A strong current on the starting line has caused six black flags. In today's first race, the seventh of the championship, four attempts were made to exit, with 6 black flags, one of them, being an affection to the regatist Ascension of Togores Rock.

10 / 07 / 2017: The Alicantino Stadel becomes strong in the leadership of the White World Cup

Hard day for some regatists, even though the wind has not been as strong as in the two days before the absolute world of the International class Europe. Many regatists have suffered the 'hardness' of a soft wind of between 8 and 6 knots of pressure that has rolled as the day runs from 160 to 186 and down. From this situation a priori the great one affected was the Norwegian Larss Brodtkorb that has seen how the Spanish Sven Stadel escapes in the general classification and what seemed a duel between both can be very diluted after the bad day that has had the Nordic, which today has punctured with some partials of 21 and 16, that keep him second in the general with 33 points, to 16 points of his rival.

On the contrary, the Alicantino is consolidated as an absolute leader, with 17 points and after doing today partial of a 14, which has ruled out, and a 3 and is very reinforced, even for having won a protest that the German Paul Haufe, who was 35 in the general, has launched in the second test today and that has been rejected, with the disqualification of the German. The Norwegian Larss, with 33 points, goes down to the third in the general, the German Fabian Kirchhoff, who in the last race today has done a first, which has allowed him to stay third of the general with 38 points and to approach the Norwegian. To highlight today the good march of the regatist Oriol Arrufat, which has signed a first and a sixth and goes seventh of the general with 66 points, to Oriol Piña, which in the fifth race (first of the day) has signed a second, adding 97 points and to Rafael Rabassa, which today has done a partial of 4 and 2 points, adding 98 points.

In the female competition, apparently everything is the same. The Danish Anna Livbjerb (with 10 points) and Anna Munch (with 18 points) continue first and second respectively. Elisabet Llargués maintains the third position with 29 points. But the struggle, which already had between the two Danes, has now begun to be waged in the Spanish delegation, between the Catalan Elisabet Llargues and the Carthagenera Ascencion Roca de Togores, for access to the third podium. Togores, with 31 points, today has been marking the Catalan one, signing a first and a fifth, which make it rise from the seventh square that he had on the second day to the fourth square, and is left to two points of podium, which still maintains Elisabet Llargués. Also highlighted is today's performance of the alicantine Irene Quilez, which is planted in fifth position, with 43 points, ascending from the ninth square she had yesterday. The rivals of Irene Sánchez continue to be the German Tania Tammling, with 44 points and Marisa Roch also with 44 points. In eighth position Lluisa Puig is placed, entering the top ten of the classification, and improving 6 squares, and adds 58 points, behind Marisa Roch.

09 / 07 / 2017: Alicantino Stadel takes the lead in Blues of the World Cup of Europe

The Alicantino Sven Stadel has had an extraordinary day and has been the leader of the world after the two races disputed today and made the right discard. Stadel adds 5 net points with partial of (9) + 1 + 1 + 3. This opens a duel between Spanish and Norwegian, Lars Brodtkorb, who yesterday led the world and is now second, two points from the Sven. The Alicantino today signed a first in the first male race that opened the day. A position of great merit, after the long delay in the exit signal, for the 9 attempts to take out the fleet. In the second race today he has made an excellent third place, in a test (the fourth of the championship) that has shortened the journey through the fall of the wind.

The great damage of the day has been the Norwegian Lars Brodtkorb, which with a second place in the first race of the day and above all the weight of the eleventh place in the second race, which has ruled out, remains two points from the Spanish, with 7 points. After the day, they both clearly distance themselves from their most direct competitors. The third is the German Fabian Kirchhoff with 22 points, the fourth is the Swedish Albin Jhonsson with 23 points, and the Danish Jerry Emil Munch is fifth with 28 points.

The women have been more calm, which luckily came out the first to compete today, so they were able to make the tour more calm, while their companions were in the process of exits. The day for them has been less conflictive than for men, and after the two races of today, when four races were counted, it has been possible to discard. The Catalan Elisabet Llargues goes unstoppable and is placed in third position. Get a square up. The Danish Ana Livbjerb is committed to the classification and strengthens her leadership. Today he has made another one in the first race, and despite being left fifth in the second, when he discards it, he dominates the general with 3 points. Behind her is her partner, the Danish Anna Munch, who continues with her regularity: today she has signed two third parties, so after her two seconds yesterday and discard a third of today she remains second with 7 points.

Elisabet Llargues today has signed a first in the last race and is placed in podium position and with 14 points, after dismissing the 12 he has had in the first test today. The German Tania Tammling, which goes fourth with 18 points and Vanessa Manthey, fifth with 20 points, will be its most direct rivals in the coming days. Also in this group of rivals is Finnish Selma Valjus, sixth with 24 points, and Asunción Roca de Togores, seventh with 25 points.

08 / 07 / 2017: Norwegian Brodtkord and Danish Livbjerg leaders of the World Cup of Europe

The absolute world of the International class Europe has taken off with a racketed rising wind, the well-known 'llevant', generated by a water suck that has tested participants in the 2017 edition of the world. The two trials today have been a first take of contact, a welcome that has been very well received by the Nordic regatists, who have been able to take advantage of the variable conditions we have experienced today in the race field in Blanes, on the doors of the Costa Brava.

The first test, which opened the championship, the first five in the male category was for Nordic, with the Swedish Albin Jhonson first, followed a few seconds by the Norwegian Lars Brodtkorb, the Swedish Alton Olson, the Danish Emil Munch and the Danish Kristian Praest. In this inaugural race the first Spanish has been the Sicantine Sven Stadel, which remained in ninth position. A similar story has also been experienced in the first race in females. The northern domain spread between the Danese Anna Liybjebrg and Anna Munch, first and second, while the German Vanesa Manthey, Marisa Roch and Tania Tammling were the following to enter the line of arrival. In this first race the Catalan Elisabet Llargués has been left tenth and Patricia Figuerola tradena.

But the day has been conditioned by the last test of the day, with a significant fall in the wind, where in the male category the Alicantino Sven Stadel has been able to take advantage of the situation and has signed a first one and has been consolidated between the four best finished the day with 10 points (9 + 1), fighting with the three Nordic ones that are in front of it, the Norwegian Lars Brodtkorb (5 points) who will provisionally lead the championship, the Swedish Albin Jhonsson (7 points) and the Danish Kristian Praest (9 points). In the female catagory, also the regatist Elisabet Llargues has recovered ground, leaving fourth at the end of the day, with 13 points (10 + 3) dating six positions, leaving behind the Danish Anna Liybjebrg, Anna Munch and the German Vanessa Manthey. To highlight the carthagenera Ascension Roca de Togores that is fifth in the female general, with partials of 16 and 4 sum 14 points and Patricia Figuerola with partials of 14 and 5 sum 19 points.

Good day also for the men Miquel Salazar, in which at the end of the day is in the 16 position, Oriol Piña, in 38 position and Rafael Rabassa, who in the second manga has signed a 7 square, favored by the fall of the wind and despite its first mana, with 55, in total 62 points, with possibilities for improvement in the next day. As has been seen on this first day, the championship will be a duel between Nordic and Mediterranean regatists, where the wind complexity of this maritime area will be tested, where today the rachas have ranged from 8 knots to moments where they are reached 15 knots, to fall after intensity, especially in the second race.

A total of 131 regatists from 13 countries (Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Venezuela) take part in this world. In the male category, there are 66 athletes and 55 women.

The Danish squadron stands out with a repression of 24 regatists, with Kristian Praest, Josefine Robl, Anna Livbjerb.
