The Spanish team of 49er FX formed by Carla and Marta Munté rose with bronze in the youth world of his class played last week in Canada. The Munté sisters keep a good memory of Kingston, where women's world champions of the 29th class were proclaimed in 2014.

"It's been a very tight ending.", explained Carla Munté after finishing in third position the youth world of 49er FX. "We started wrong and went back day by day. The conditions have been about 15 knots on average this week and we have sailed very well", he said. The Munté sisters fought the medal race from the fourth square: "In the last of the three tests of the medal we had about 18 knots and until the last moment we didn't know if we had got a podium post."

The Catalan women got the bronze thanks to two third and a fourth place in the medal race, exceeding by just one point their pursuers, the Australian Ten Hove / Millen. The world champions in the youth category of the 49er FX class were the Norwegian sisters Agerup and the second position was for the Japanese Yamazaki / Takano.
