Marujin (Height) and Enigma (A2) win the XXVIII Dragonera Regatta
Marujin, of Pere Roquet, and Enigma, of Lluís Tort, were the winners of the XXVIII Regata Dragonera, in Height and A2 respectively. The Roquet boat needed 21 hours and 58 minutes to cross the 120 nautical miles that separate the Nàutic El Balís Club, from Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, with the Club Vela Puerto Andratx. In this way, both ships were imposed on the 11 teams that participated in the competition. For its part, Enigma managed to join the two ports in just 20 hours and 44 minutes. Tanilai, with Xesca Díaz in the cane, was a champion of the Tanit class, which forces half the crew to be women and the cane to be in charge of a woman. The competition, which was notable for the Championship of Catalonia, was organized by El Balís, the Club Vela Puerto Andratx and was supported by the Catalan Federation of Vela.
The whole race was developed under the planned weather forecasts. Thus, on Saturday there were moderate winds that reached up to 4 points in the north of Mallorca and waves between meters and meters and a half.
Saturday, July 1, award in El Balís
The already mythical race of La Dragonera, which this year has celebrated its XXVIII edition, has managed, one more year, to unite these two Mediterranean ports for the shortest night of the year, San Juan. In spite of this, this year's edition has a small modification and is that the award delivery will be held on Saturday July 1 at the facilities of Club Nàutic El Balís.
